Rose watched him walk off then smiled at Twiggy, "Since when were you the non-responsible, teasing one." She laughed.

"Since now!" Twiggy declared. "Ah I just had to" He added and beamed.

Rose laughed, "Yeah?" She smiled and walked out of the kitchen and sat on the seat next to him. She frowned, "Do you think he'll be ok?"

"I hope so" Twiggy said, not really answering the question.

Rose nodded, "Yeah. I am sure he will. Hey, Don't worry."

"My own room?Your kidding me right? I'm only stay like what a couple nights? I could just crash on the couch."Sparrow exclaimed.

"I've tried hockey too actually.Fell right on my butt the moment I touched the ice."he laughed with Sam.

Sam giggled."Soccer and track are pretty much the only sports I'm good at, sadly. Though I want to try cross country." She said. She narrowed her eyes at her annoying hair, and tucked it behind her ears, hoping to get it to stop coming in her eyes.

"That's cool.Is this your neighborhood?"Carter asked as they walked down a dark street lined with ordinary houses.

Sparrow looked over at Ray who was resting on the couch."Is it okay if I get a snack?"she asked quietly.

"Thanks."Sparrow jumped the last step, which was a bad habit of hers, and skipped over to the fridge.She opened it up and scanned through it.She picked out a nice juicy apple, washed it, and bit down smiling.She walked over to the couch and plopped down."So you leave here all by yourself?"she asked in between bites.

Ray nodded "Yeah, my parents are always off in some other part in the world. Ever only home for a week max" he said and smiled slightly.

"I'm sorry I must be confusing you with the whole situation of my parents since I keep mentioning them alive but I told the cops I had none.So I guess I should just get this out."she began quietly and thoughtfully munching on her apple."You see my parents died about a month ago.Car accident, drunk driver, happens all the time I know.But I keep forgetting they're gone and I still think they are on their vacation in Australia but they aren't.They're dead.Dead, dead, dead!"Sparrow was mostly talking to herself now, trying to convince herself that her parents were gone.Forever.A tear trickled down her cheek and she quickly wiped it away.
