At First Glance~~~
Name~~~
Alexandra Moor, who prefers to go by Alex. However, almost everybody calls her Alexandra anyways. Her last name was taken after her mother, and her 'code name', if you wish to be crude, is Tempest.

Age~~~
Alexandra Isn't the youngest of the bunch, but she isn't the oldest, either; topping out at 15 going on 16 very soon, Alexandra looks a lot older than she actually is; most mistake her for 17, if not a bit older.

Ethnicity~~~
Alexandra has a strange descent. She bears the resemblance of what a mutt would be if it was human; in other words, a giant mix of cultures. For example; her Father was from great Britain, but her grandfather moved there from Australia, whilst her mother was born and raised in America, though she was of Asian descent. That made Alexandra a very mixed ethnicity, but to keep things simple lets just say she's half Asian, Half British; because of her dad, she carries a slight British accent, though you can't really tell until she gets mad.

Personality~~~
Alexandra prefers to be quiet and reserved, locking up her feelings under a cool, hard shell. However, even though she has a quiet nature, Alexandra carries a powerful presence; one that should not be disobeyed. A very regulated and logical person, some might even say that she is arrogant the way she chews into some people for the slightest mistake; however, that is just her perfectionist side talking. Being one that hates to waste time and is expertly organized, Alexandra does things with quick efficiency, not a moment wasted. A slightly sensitive person when it comes to personal matters, Alexandra usually stands off at a distance, though she has strong leadership traits. Even with all of her good sides, and her calm appearance -indeed, one has yet to see her truly mad- Alexandra is quite socially awkward, which is why she prefers to be alone.

History~~~
Born as the daughter of a famous scientist, Alexandra has always been in shadow, almost always introduced as 'the daughter of...' instead of by her actual name. Indeed, she got into newspapers just because of her father. Her father was a renowned Neurosurgeon, who specialized in the workings of the brain and the nerves; he had been the one to find a breakthrough that dramatically slowed the devastating effects of Alzheimer's disease. However, after he gained fame, Alexandra's father... Changed. Who once was a caring, though slightly scatterbrained, father figure was now replaced by a completely dazed and disheveled scientist, one who rarely ate, slept, or rested unless he was ordered to do so. The rift between him and his family grew wider and wider, until Alexandra's parents finally got a divorce, to the great dismay of Alexandra, who was thirteen at the time. However, through court and parenting laws, Alexandra was able to visit him for a week every month, and longer in the summer.

However, during one fateful visit in December, Alexandra noticed something wrong. When she used the key hidden under the flowerpot to get into her father's run-down apartment, she noticed that the air seemed much... colder. It was actually on the brink of freezing temperature, really, if Alexandra had bothered to check the thermometer. Another strange fact was that the lights seemed to be a lot dimmer than... well, than light's should be; it was like energy had been drained, syphoned out the bulbs themselves. Making her way cautiously down the hall for fear of a burglar, Alexandra happened upon something much, much worse. She saw the true extent of a scientist, of one who would ignore any borders, even including the border of human morals.

Her father had truly become one of the fabled mad scientists; he even had rats, and a strange, otherworldly mechanism to prove it. Hearing Alexandra enter the room, he turned around with an almost maniacal stare, and beckoned her forward. When Alexandra shuffled back a few steps, hesitant for her safety, her father lunged forward, a strange set of handcuffs in the other, and knocked Alexandra out with said handcuffs; when Alexandra blacked out, her father than cuffed her to a long metal table...

After Alexandra awoke, there was a barrage of furious and unrelenting attacks, each painful and leeching her of her energy. However, around the fifth day of this, Alexandra felt a strange shift in herself; like an empty, long lost puzzle peice had clicked. Filled with a strange and wondrous power, Alexandra strained against her handcuffs, her feelings in turmoil; suddenly, a loud rumbling started echoing through the halls, shaking the very house itself. As Alexandra looked around, a giant wave of water sluiced it's way into the experimenting room, everything about it unnatural, from the swaying movement to the raw power infused in the water. Looking with extremely astonished eyes, Alexandra watched as said water obliterated almost anything in the room that wasn't pinned down. Seeing the chains connecting the handcuffs snap, Alexandra raced out f the room, running from a person she thought loved her dearly. After wandering around for three days and on the brink of starvation, she was taken to this school under mysterious circumstances...

Clothing/Accessories~~~
Alexandra usually wears something casual; for her case, it's usually a comfortable vest over a long sleeved shirt, or a short sleeved shirt if it's warm. Pairing her top with soft jeans or jean shorts, Alexandra looks quite simple, but seems to be able to pull the look off. Of course, Alexandra always wears a pair of high heeled combat boots, if there is such a thing; it's the closest you could come to describe it. A rich, dark brownish black color, Alexandra doesn't change shoes even in the dead of summer. As for Accessories; Alexandra has had her ears pierced, and usually just wears simple dangling earrings, like maybe with a small pendant, but nothing over the top. She also has a leather necklace with a ring slung on it; upon closer inspection, you can tell the ring is very, very fine material, a dazzling pure silver, carved in a wave design and imbedded with small flecks of blue, semi-precious crystal. It is one of her most prized possessions.

Power~~~
Alexandra has Maelstrom control; Maelstrom is a fancy word for storm, or violent water. Therefore, Alexandra controls every form of water, able to use it to her advantage to create and destroy some amazing things. Able to control everything about water, even the pressure, Alexandra loves the ocean; it is also where her powers work best.

Completely Understanding~~~
Strengths~~~
Alexandra is a very fit person, though not exactly full marks in the physical department. However, Alexandra makes up for what she lacks in strength with extraordinary speed and agility; maybe an aftereffect of her time spent with her loving father? Needless to say, Alexandra is very agile. Also extremely cunning Alexandra uses her wits to her advantage.

Weaknesses~~~
As mentioned before, Alexandra lacks physical strength; if someone were to challenge her with brute force, Alexandra would easily buckle. Also, Alexandra has a very low tolerance for most things, from alcohol to even an overdose of power from mutant abilities. Quite a claustrophobic person, Alexandra hates small, tight, confined spaces- and will do anything in her power to avoid them.

Other~~~
Alexandra currently owns a tame, though still highly venomous, coral snake which is currently going through it's child years, rendering it nearly harmless, not to mention the fact that it's only about two feet long.

ＯＰＥＮ ＦＯＲ ＰＯＳＴＩＮＧ

Originally my idea was to start with our first mission but since we are short two people on each team we will start with Team Building instead. This will last until we have the final two slots filled.

For now it is the first day of school the students have just been given their Team Assignements for the year and are directed to a specific training room ( one for each team ) where they are encouraged to learn more about their individual team-mates strengths and weaknesses.

If so desired they may even practice their powers but they must remain in the training room for the duration of the day until the evening meal.

For many of your characters this is most likely the first time they have met their teammates. They may know each other in passing (enough to possibly put a name to a face) but they will have had no extended interaction with each other.

Pushing open a large set of double doors and cautiously stepping into a strangely quiet hallway, Alexandra felt extremely self-conscious and self-aware walking down the marble-floored halls, wincing slightly every time her boots made a clicking sound on the floor, Alexandra shoved a lock of wavy black hair behind her ear and pulled out a neatly folded packet of paper, scrutinizing the tiny, blocky letters for the fourth time that day. Sighing softly, Alexandra rubbed her eyes and shook her head, shoving the paper into her pocket- folding it first, of course. Whoever wrote out mission briefings should at least make them easier to read... Alexandra thought in slight annoyance. Lost in her thoughts, Alexandra almost walked past the room she was supposed to go to, which was quite the surprise considering they stood out in contrast to the other plain wooden doors. Making an abrupt one hundred and eighty degree turn, Alexandra paused in front of the room, stalling, rereading the plaque to the right of the door that currently said 'Team B Training Room'. Taking a deep breath, Alexandra pushed open the doors and slid into the room... Only to find it empty.

Frowning in slight annoyance and shock, Alexandra surveyed the room, confirming that she indeed was the only person there. Rolling her eyes, Alexandra decided to lean and relax on a far wall, looking in slight awe at the space she was in. The size of the training room utterly dwarfed any singly room she had ever been in; it might even be able to rival the subway stations that she constantly rode on. Placing a hand n the wall and discovering it to be slightly soft, Alexandra knew that things were going to get quite serious in here. At least there were windows, giving the large space a very spacious feel instead of making Alexandra feel alone. Passing her hand through a small shaft of sunlight, Alexandra sighed again, and waited for the other members of her team to arrive. True she knew who they were, considering she had thoroughly perused the mission briefing and all, but Alexandra had never really met them face to face; and even if there had been a meet and greet, Alexandra probably wouldn't have gone anyways. Tapping her foot on the ground crossing her arms, Alexandra closed her eyes and leaned her head against the cool material of the wall behind her.

History:

When she was born, it seemed bad luck was there. It's been following her everywhere, no matter where she runs. At her 6th birthday party, her house caught fire and burned down, causing her family to be homeless. They didn't have much money, and they couldn't afford even a hotel room. They were forced to live off the streets. They went to beg for money, but whenever they went begging with Zora, everyone shut their doors. Eventually they started to leave her behind, and finally, they even left town to start a new life without her. She found out about her abilitys around that time, and used them to get money by fighting. She somehow got accepted in this school, she doesn't know why. She does know Dimentio, but really only from a distance. She once fought with him, and would've won if he hadn't mysteriously disappeared.

Personality:

Shes very strong, but sweet and kind. She loves making new friends and will be loyal to them forever. She hates taking orders, but also hates giving them. She says that everyone should have an opinion and that no one should be left out or discriminated. Even though she has bad luck, she's still nice, but if someone makes her made, she goes into a nearly uncontrollable rage.

Zora has long black curly hair that goes down to her waist. She often wears a headband to keep her hair out of her face. Her skin is a dark mocha color, just like her eyes. She wears blue short sleeved shirts and overalls with dull brass buttons. Her shoes are brown tennis shoes, laced up tightly. She is fairly tall, and is always carrying her huge chain she uses as a weapon.
