Jay took her hand, getting up easily with her help. "Okay then. Knowing him he'd be playing poker, probably cheating, in his shop." The shadowhunter said, knowing the warlock since his birth.

Maya grinned. "Sounds like him" she said. She didn't know Raef that well but she had met him twice now. Ever since she had gotten to know Jay, they had been together on missions and pretty much everywhere else which made it easier for her to keep an eye on his condition.

"Ok then. Allons-y" He began to lead her through the quiet mid-morning streets. It was that odd time between morning rushhour and lunch, so it seemed rather quiet. As they eventually reached the shop he was about to knock on the door when he heard Raef's thick accent.
"Come in" The 'young' latino man said, opening the door with the snap of his fingers. Raef was at the counter with a werewolf and one of the fae folk. He put his cards down (face down) and began rummaging through a drawer to find what he knew the two were looking for.

Maya stayed behind Jay since she didn't trust the other people in the room other than Raef and kept her hand on her seraph blade. She would be ready if there was an attack.

Isobel sat up on the couch and placed the card on the table next to her " it was nice if hodge to send me a birthday card"

"Raef who's the kid?" The werewolf asked, making a whipped motion with his hand.
"Shut up" Raef replied shooting him a look. " Just because the clave pays me to give him this poison doesn't mean I'm whipped." He threw a black bag to Jay, looking over at the two nephlim. "So have you fixed the little rougue problem yet or do I still need to watch out for them. Because honestly I rather be at parties." The thing about Raef was that he drank gambled and partied very hard usually. Lately he toned it down to be able to supply the demon poison to Jay.
"It'll be fixed soon. " The silver haired nephlim replied, glancing at Maya. Of course being a part time tattoo artist, Raef had to notice the new ink on Maya.
"Being Risquée are we? " This earned him a glare from Jay. Being a warlock he had no gender preferance, and whenever Raef saw someone he thought was cute in the slightest way he may gun after them unless he sees a obstacle in his way. In this case, it was Jay.
