Jay smiled before covering a stiffled cough with his hand, blood flecking the fabric of his jacket that was pulled over it. They had been out all night and he had not taken his 'medication' the day before nor that morning. This was not very good, however he had forgotten to do so.

Maya's eyes popped open when she heard Jay's cough. This wasn't good. "Jay, did you take you medication?" she asked as she stared at his jacket.

Maya almost freaked out. She jumped up. "Jay! You know you're condition is bad! We need to go to Raef now!" she almost screamed. She was getting extremely worried. She searched her pockets for a napkin and found one and dabbed it on his jacket to get the blood off of it. She hoped nothing would go wrong. She didn't want to lose someone precious to her again. She would do anything to keep them safe even if it cost her her life.
