My smile slowly faded at the sound of the sadness in her voice, and I sighed, pulling her to me and wrapping my arms around her comfortingly, my huge wings enveloping us both. "I'm sorry," he murmured.

Adam just sighed when he felt her sadness. But, he didn't exactly want to feel the love that she was giving Damon, since he still envied it himself. He flew out of the tree and one much further away, out of mind reading and emotion sharing range. "Ava!" he called, hoping that she could hear her. "Please, show yourself! Or at least someone...I feel so lonely out here."

Alice smiled and hugged him back, "It's okay, i think it was supossed to end this way." She said feeling Adam out of range, she smiled for real and kissed him softly.

Adam sighed and held his head in his hands. "I'm so stupid. To even think I had a chance with her. She probably didn't even love me at all. Of course, no one could love the 'stupid' one." He shook his head. "I'm letting this get to me much harder than I wanted it to."

My eyes widened slightly at the first contact, and then slowly closed, my muscles relaxing and a small shiver coursing through me. I would have sighed if I wasn't kissing her. I brought one hand around and tilted her chin up to further face me, my lips pressing softly against hers. My wings still enclosed us both in a night-like protection of silky black feathers.

Alice kissed him harder, then broke away and caught her breath. She looked over at his wing, the one she didn't clean, she smirked at him before pintching the very tip where the nerve was.

I gasped softly, feeling myself relax instantly. I scowled playfully at her, leaning in to kiss her again. "You did that on purpose," I murmured against her lips.

"Mhm." Alice mummbled shocked by his sudden non shyness (no idea how else to put that.). She grinned and put her arms around his neck, "You've been waiting for this?" She asked when she pulled away to breath.

I smiled at her, flashing my straight white teeth, my golden eyes shining. "You could say that," I murmured, holding her tightly. "And it's been worth the wait."

Alice smiled and pressed against him, "Has it?" She asked pressing her lips to his once more.
