[i]Why not now?[/i] Alice asked. She placed a hand on his bare chest and smiled up at him.

Adam stiffened slightly when she came closer. 'Okay, fine...I was going to have you go with Damon instead of me. Seeing both Damon and Ava upset about us being together bothered me a little. But, then when I saw Ava go tend to Damon...I realized what a great couple those two would be. I rejected the idea all together. It wasn't that important anyway.' He lowered his gaze, feeling ashamed that about that previous idea that crossed his mind.

Alice smlied, see? That wasn't hard. She leaned in closer and batted her eyelashes.

'I guess not,' Adam thought back with a weak smile. 'I was expecting you to get mad at me or something, really.' He folded his snow white wing around her and looked up at the sky. "I wonder if I can still fly. Most of my primaries fell out."

Alice placed her hand on his face, "I"m sure you can." She whispered. She kissed him softly.

Adam felt himself flush up slightly when Alice kissed him. He closed his eyes and smiled against her lips. "Love you," he whispered as his smile widened to a grin. "Here." He moved away from her for a moment and plucked one of his white feathers. "My black ones would be hard to see against your own." He placed the feather in a mix of her black ones and in a nice spot where it wouldn't fall out. "Now, a little piece of me will always be with you."

Alice smiled as he put a white feather in one of her wings, "Yes. Now i do, beside the whole bond thing." She said with a giggle.

"Heh, good point," Adam said with a chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck. "I almost forgot about that." He closed his eyes in thought. "Something's telling me that Molly won't like this at all. But, it'll be funny to see her expression, don't you think?"

"Yeah." Alice said putting her arms around his neck and staring into his eyes.

Ava bristled, padding away angerily, feeling the tears welling up again as she saw Alice and Adam. Her ears flattened as she padded away, her claws slidding out, scoring the ground as she left.
