"Guys there's a--AGH!" Catie screamed as Gallade and Blaziken tackled her. Blaziken grabbed one arm while Gallade grabbed the other. "Gal! Gallade!" Gallade said harshly, pulling harder. "BLAZE!" Blaziken roared, pulling as well. Catie strained against them. "HEY! STOP FIGHTING!" Gengar yelled from the bed, surprising the fighting Pokemon and causing them to let go of Catie, who fell over. "Ugh, thanks, Gengar," Catie said weakly, standing up. She turned to her Pokemon. "I assume you heard about the competition, so we're going to put it to a vote. Who DOESN'T want to compete?" She asked, crossing her arms. None of her Pokemon raised their hands. She sighed. "Fine. Good thing I came prepared," She pulled out a box full of onigiri. "Whoever has the onigiri with the red bean paste center is the winner. Ready? Grab!" Catie said, and all of her Pokemon grabbed a rice ball. Gallade took a bite out of his and let out a roar of frustration when he found it was green on the inside. Hypno had pink, Gengar had blue, Dragonite had purple, which meant...
"BLAZIKEN!" Blaziken yelled victoriously, holding up his rice ball which had a red center. Gallade glared at him, then huffed, sitting down on the floor. Catie went over and hugged him. "I promise, you can fight next time. Besides, we've got a lot of fighting ahead of us, anyways," Catie said soothingly. Gallade nodded, hugging her back. Catie stood, turning to Blaziken. "Time to go, you big oaf," She grinned, and Blaziken picked her up, putting her on his shoulders. Catie teetered for a second, "Whoa, okay, just head for the deck," She said, as Blaziken dipped way low to clear both his and her head through the door. They made it to the deck and Catie looked down. "Holy crap, Blaze, why do you have to be so tall?" She said, feeling a little sick. Blaziken let out a snort. They made it to the table. "Hi, I'd like to sign up," Catie called down from Blaziken's shoulders. The guy who was signing people in stared up in shock. "Y-yeah, what's your name? And dude, you have a HUGE Blaziken," He stuttered. Catie laughed. "My name is Catie," She said. He wrote it down, nodding. "Good to go, chicka," He said. Blaziken walked over to Damon, looking down at him. Catie gave Damon a thumbs up, grinning. "Blaziken won, so I'm fighting with him," She said happily.
