Rilo clambered out of the tree that he was in. The Raven was still perched on his shoulder as usual. He moved toward the others, watching the other boy and girl carefully. Still trust issues. How can Emily talk to people right off the bat? I need at least some background info or something...

Rilo looked over to Jaden with a scowl. "And, I'd much rather be the only one to hear my thoughts," he said in a blunt tone. He glanced around. There were so many people here, though it was just one more than the company of Ellen and Violet earlier. He felt crowded.
