Alec had been tracing random shapes on the dirt that had been her carpet as the boys talked, but she froze at the word amputate. She looked up and spoke silently to herself. I know I haven't said anything, but PLEASE don't have me amputate my leg.....

Matt looked down when the guy said amputate and saw Alec's reaction, then knew that wasn't an option. Alec would rather be stuck under the bed forever. Matt simply nodded then walked to the meteors side. "Ready?"

Griffin grabbed hold of the meteor as well, grunting. It was heavy... almost as heavy as the one that was ontop of Kat's bathtub hiding-spot. 1......2.......3....... heave! Griffin grunted, pulling up with all of his might.

[Lennie]

Matt listened closely to the countdown in his mind and pushed at the same time. It was a struggle and a literal pain, and his arm bled even further. The meteor slid slowly, a painful struggle, and after a few moments fell with a dull thud, a small dust cloud erupting from where it fell. Alec started coughing, still not moving really. When the storm cleared Alec's green eyes were staring at both Matt and Griffin and she smiled weakly. "Well, good news and bad news. I feel pain, meaning the foot's free, but the bad part, the pain..." Matt smiled, bending down, pulling out Alec and carrying her. She protested but Matt wouldn't hear it. "You can't walk, and I won't let you. Your leg is broken Alec! God, for once just listen." But he was teasing so she simply stopped protesting and had a rather angered expression.

Griffin smiled at the two. Good luck you guys, I should get back to my sister. He murmered, saluting them. He gave a slight worried look to Alex, but looked away again, heading back towards the direction of where he last saw his twin-sister.

[Lennie]

Alec smiled, waving to the guy. "Thank you!" But she turned back to Matt with an angered expression. "Would you please let me down?" But Matt simply shook his head and they, well he, walked the two over to some other people. So in reply, Alec took his hat, placing it on her hat, and though annoyed, Matt ignored it and walked up to another guy (Jack) "Hey." Alec spoke up, from her sideways position. "Matt, PLEASE put me down." He looked at her leg for a moment, then once more shook his head.

Jack immediatly snapped out of his thinking,looking up at them from his sitting position.'Uh..Hello..."He murmered,smiling a tad."Wait...why are you carrying her anyway...?"He then asked,it being directed to Matt,a small confused expression on his face as he looked at him.

Kat was starting to walk over to that one dude that helped save her life (Jack) but stopped when she saw two other survivors walk up to him, she turned around quietly, almost sadly, to be suprised by Griffin. She screamed, but he put his hand over her mouth.

He glared at her, making a shhhhh sign with his finger of her lips. C'mon, we've got to get some water. We can only last 3 days without it. He said, dragging her away from Jack.

Alec spoke up, the hat draping over her face. She pushed it up, then smiled sadly at Jack. "I managed to break my foot." She smirked, then placed Matt's hat back on his head. "Yeah, and knowing Alec, she'll attempt running with her foot." She slapped him at this, and he put her down, supporting her bad side. "And you are?"

Jack watched the two,blinking.''Im Jack.Jack Johnson."He said,saying his full name just for no reason."So,your Alec..?And you are?"He asked,motioning towards Matt.

[Lennie]

Alec smiled. "Yeah, I'm Alec, Alec Marie Soeis." She'd always been talkative, and somehow, an apocolyptic situation, apparently didn't change that. She then hit Matt in the arm in a friendly way. "And this person, would be my friend Matthew Dean Marck." Matt smirked, "Nice to meet you Jack."
