Rani swallowed. She could picture herself in those shoes. She wanted them so badly. She longed to grab them off Hahli's feet and put them on her own. But of course she couldn't do that. They were way too expensive. And probably about three sizes too big. "You should get them," She said, forcing a smile.

Hahli nodded, thinking about it. Her trip will most likly take alot of foot work so while she'd love to get these shoes, she wasn't sure she should buy them. "hmm, I'm not sure there for me. Here, you try them. I think we have simuler feet sizes." Hahli said, slipping the shoes off and handing them to Rani.

A faint blush gloomed on Rani's face. "Oh...that's okay," She said. "I should probably be getting home." That at least, was true. She should get home. But it was a good excuse, she hoped, to hide that she didn't have nearly enough money to buy the shoes.

"You sure? I'll buy them if they fit and you try them on. To return the favor." Hahli said, hoping Rani will stay a little longer.

Return the favor? Rani wondered what that meant. She was the one that owed something to Hahli, not the other way around. But free shoes...no. She shouldn't. They were beautiful, but not very practicul or warm. She shook her head. "Thank you, though."

Hahli shurgged in defeet and nodded. "Well, I'll get them anyway. That way, later, if you want to, you can use them." Hahli then quickly walked to the casher and bought the shoes and a pair of good walking boots. She then walked back to Rani.

"Well...," Rani said awkwardly. She didn't really want to leave Hahli, but she had no more reasons to hang out with her.

"Well, lets go. I'm done for now I guess. Maybe I could walk with you home?" She asked hopefully. She wants to know where her friend lived so she could talk to her later.

Rani nodded, relieved. "Yeah, that'd be nice." She said with a smile. She bundled up the food she bought and started walking.

Hahli followed Rani her thoughts on if she really should leave, what her parents might do, ect ect. She didn't really notice on of the boys from before sneak up on her, not rectonising her from before but thinking she had some money.
