Rani wandered a little ways from the food section. To the medicine part. The explained to the merchant her mother's sickness, wondering what to buy. The seller nodded in a wise, knowing way and held up some sort of plant. "How much?" Rani asked, reaching for her money. Which was tucked safely in the folds of her dress. She couldn't afford to be mugged, so she switched her money hiding spot every few days. The man told her the price. It was nearly all the money she had, and she had to buy some food as well. But her mother was ill, and getting worse. She'd just have to not get the medicine. Maybe Mae, her older sister, could try and heal their mother. Mae had never really taken healing lessons, but she'd learned a little from her freinds. Now days she worked. That was the only reason that their family had any money. Getting Mae to stop work and learn to heal would only result in the three of them starving to death.
I dream of a world where chickens can cross roads without having their motives questioned
Sorry if I'm not on as often as I used to be.
