Luna nodded and turned around. She walked back up the way she had came, her dogs following behind her.

Katie looked around, watching as Luna left. When she decided it was safe again, she crawled out of her spot and slung her backpack over her shoulder.

The sound of footsteps cut through the still silence of the snowy quiet that blanketed everything now. John approached the camp, with Erin and Mark ((I think?) behind him. They were all carrying a sledge piled on with food and grain. "Open up!" He called, trying to get the guards attention.

Appearance: Kaiiyen has long white blonde feathery hair, pale skin, and extravagant blue eyes. She has a nice figure with curves, but don't let that fool you- she's quite the agile hunter. She has slim fingers and dainty hands that she uses to play guitar.
History: Just about a year ago, Anya and Kaiiyen's father died of hyperthermia. It left them both depressed and angry at the world. Recently, though, Kaiiyen had moved on.
Special talents: Had things been the way they were, Kaiiyen would have been an artist and a musician. She paints, sings, and plays guitar beautifully.
Other: She has a sister name Anya.

Name: Anastasia Claire Lawrence
Age: Turning 10
Appearance: bright red curly hair and green eyes. She doesn't look much like her sister.
Personality: Anya has developed quite the attitude, but she does show respect to others if they can gain it. Her sister, Kaiiyen, and her have a weird way of showing affection- through sarcasm and bickering. They have a great relationship, but Anya has great pride in not showing too much emotion.
Talents: She shows the paintful artistic values her sister has. She doesn't sing, though.
Other: Kaiiyen is her older sister.
Abode: Both live in Grand Central, if that's okay.

(There, now the story of John being Kaiiyen's uncle is more believable, so to speak.)

And, in reality, a person would not recover from being nearly frozen to death in just a few hours, Katie.

Katie looked around again and went back up the steps of the subway, emerging into the icy cold and snow. "Dear god.. This sucks so much," she said an noted that it was almost sunset. "hm.. I better go now," Katie thought aloud, and walked out of the city. She looked around for the massive snowdrift Luna was talking about and saw it in the far distance. Groaning in annoyance, she kept walking, careful of where she stepped this time.
