Umi appears to be sweet,cute,and kind,but in reality,she gets the other traits of the cat.She is blunt,rude,and unafraid to speak her mind,she doesn't tend to like people,and is very introverted.Warming up to you takes time,and even then,she does not soften her personality in the slightest.She can be slightly cocky,but not overly so,she almost always wears a stoic appearance.She is very clever,and tends to figure out problems faster than others,she is sly,and much like her animal.Even though she is infused with an animal of the feline family,she seems to be the complete opposite of Ichigo.

When she is Mew Ume,she does have a weapon,a sword,with a dark purple,hilt,and an entirely black blade,with the word Plum,written in japanese,in small font at the bottom of the blade.梅 ['plum']
