Lily got out of the shower and dressed in a simple blue dress. She put on her amulet necklace and brushed her hair, then headed for the main car. She was informed that dinner would be here soon, so she sat down.

I watched as the female tribute walked in and sat down as well. I took my eyes back to my shoes, wondering if she was going to say anything. I knew that I wasn't, but I sure wanted to. I felt just like one of the animals that I raised at home, being fattened and spoiled rotten until the Capital people would throw me until a blood bath. I shivered at the thought, glancing out the window every now and again.

Senka dressed, taking of her old cloths and put a blue long shirt and a blue and black skirt. Senka walked to them stadium, the reaping was today. Senka did her blood thingy and then took her place in the crowd, waiting for someone to be called.

"Do... Do you know anything, um, anything about this?" I asked shakily. That took a lot of courage for me, considering I am who I am– just quiet little Caleb who nobody knows about.

I kept up the sad girl act, my eyes now stained red from the tears. I sniffled, my crying coming to a cease. I couldn't wait to see who the male district was, hopefully he would make a good ally. If not, I would be just fine finding someone else or being alone.
