Anya smiled softly and waved with a laugh "alright! It was very nice to meet you too" she said with a smile, then looked at Duncan with a smirk.
"What?"
"Nothing, nothing," she said softly "lets feed you too eh? Order in?"
"Yep, I don't feel like cooking" he chuckled softly, guiding her to the apartment building carefully.

Aela smiled happily "I love you" she said slowly again, nuzzling into him. "We're having a baby... A baby.." She said to herself with happy tears. She was worried sick he wouldn't want a child after she learned about his daughter, as that kept her from telling him the moment she found out. But with him so happy, she could relax a bit more.

"Just a little burn love, like grabbing a hot pan. I'll be ok" he said softly "want to talk about it?"

Ryder's eyes wandered to the missing tip of Brit's ear. He forced his gaze away and said, "That was Angel. Her and I were dating before she had to move away, and I kind of forgot about her. So when she came back, I told her it was over, and she hates me for it now."

Tam looked down. "Sorry, Rayleen. Krysta made it sound as if Raksha was going to die and there was nothing that could be done about it."

Michael surfaced and took a deep breath of cool air, and laughed.

Krysta slowly turned and stared at Kimono. She got a bad feeling about her and growled softly then walked over to Mark at the counter "Something's wrong about her.....So keep an eye on your people Mark" She looked towards Ryder and Brit. 'She'll be safe with him around as long as they only talk civilly as we all do here.' She looked at Mark and smiled softly. "I'll come back later, I was going to get something to drink, but right now...my guts telling me to leave. Have a good day" She walked past Kimono and felt the fur on her neck stand on ends. She quickly left and looked at the young cloaked girl standing not too far away. She walked up to her slowly and tilted her head "I don't think I've seen you around before. I'm Krysta" She smiled warmly her pink eyes seeming to glitter in the light

Kimono slowly made her way over towards one of the tables before sitting down in a chair. She crosses her legs all elegant-like before she had picked up a Menu, and started gazing over it.

Avera gasped slightly in surprise as someone had spoke to her. Ave looked over her shoulder before turning, giving a soft smile. "Hello there. I'm Avera. And, actually, I had visited the Diner not too long ago... I don't think I have seen you though..." She said softly.

Rayleen struggled to keep Rakha still, "If I can't get you to help me she wont be around much longer Tam. She's drowning in blood and somethings wrong with her head, her legs broken, and she's lost a lot of blood. now hold her still!"

Brit chuckled lowly then looked out the window and took a sip of the mocha Ryder had brought her and whispered "I guess I can understand how she feels" Glad to be out of the sight of the others for the most point her tail lightly brushed his leg as she let her mind wander. She was thinking of Angel and trying to understand how Tam could like someone like Her when he had Angel.

Angel walked down the road and slammed Krysta "Watch it freak" She then waked into the diner and smiled brightly seeing Mark and the others "Hey guys" Her voice was soft as silk again as though she wasn't getting ready to blow any minute.

Brit's eyes darted towards Angel catching her scent. 'oh no' She looked towards Ryder then glanced back towards Angel without a word giving him a silent warning.

Krysta stumbled when Angel slammed into her and growled lowly at her rudeness but turned back to Avera and smiled softy "I'm sorry I missed you then. You're name is very beautiful miss Avera. If you don't mind me asking, why do you wear the cloak?" Her ears twitched slightly as she listened to everything around them.

Jade sat in the park alone and gripped the chains on the swing she was on tightly. 'I don't like it here'

Blair swam up under Michael and yanked him back under and darted to the surface herself to get a breath of air.

Kyleigh was walking next to Kane when she heard a noise she knew too well, a girl screaming her stage name
"HEY IT'S KYLA!!!!
Kyleigh grabbed Kane's hand and took off with her uncle next to her growling.
The two rushed by Anya and Duncan and into the apartments
They slid into a stairwell, Kane growled loudly "You just HAD to go show off your talents and become famous didn't you?!"
Kyleigh flinched, she'd heard that so many times now it didn't hurt much "I'm sorry uncle Kane"
"Oh no, you aren't but you're gonna be. You realize its because of YOU my brothers, you FATHER, and his wife are DEAD?!"
At that, Kyleigh had tears stinging her eyes. Kane NEVER brought that up, and it hurt her deeply that he would now. She whispered shakily "Kane....I'm sorry....."
Kane glared at Kyleigh his eyes were hard and cold "You don't GET it Kyleigh! If it weren't for you they'd still BE here, and I wouldn't have to play bodyguard to you you bra...." He stopped seeing the pain in Kyleigh's eyes. He'd crossed the line and hurt her. He hadn't meant to bring up her parents, but he was tired and wasn't thinking straight. "Ky I-"
Kyleigh flew out of the stairwell, not caring in teh slightest if she ran straight into the crowd.


Lex smiled and quickly fell asleep holding Aela close.

Sasha shook her head "Not right now James" She looked exhausted and cuddled close to him. She slowly began falling asleep while she was standing up and relaxed feeling James close to her.

A pair of arms quickly grabbed Kyleigh and pulled her to the side with a snarl "back off!" Duncan guided her back into the building as Anya rush ahead, tapping the wall or handrail as she went. when she came up to Kane, she didnt say anything but gave him a glare before looking back at her brother "common, lets move it!"

Aela sighed happily and nuzzled into him, and finally fell asleep.

James nodded softly, kissing her head as he scooped her up. "alright, but my ears are hear when your ready" he said, carrying her back to bed. Keeping her in his arms, he laid down and relaxed as he stroked her back softly. He was quiet for a moment before he said "Was it about your past coming back to haunt you?" he asked softly.

Kyleigh had tears silently streaming down her cheeks but she didn't fight Duncan, she didn't have the strength to. She hadn't slept in 3 days and hadnt eaten in about 4. She gave her food to Kane when she got anything because she wasn't a selfish person. her parents had taught her how to be kind, loving, and selfless....but that was taking a toll on her. Kyleigh never said a word about it, or the pain in her ribs from a time a fan had rammed her into a metal bar trying to get a picture with her and an autograph. It had broken 2 of her ribs and they'd never healed right. She never once told Kane about the pain and always said she was fine.

Kane looked at Anya as she passed and snarled before leaving. He knew he screwed up royally, but there was nothing he could do now but wait until things calmed down.

Sasha flinched slightly hearing what James said and pulled away a little. It was part of her nightmare, but she was scared to think about the rest.

Avera looked at Krysta as she was pushed. Ave narrowed her eyes at the rude person before turning back to Krysta, hearing her speak. Ave smiled as Krysta had complimented her name. "Thank you. I like your name as well... It's pretty." She said with a smile before hearing her ask about her cloak. Ave blinked and looked down shyly. "I-I umm... It's for identity purposes... My s-sister doesn't like it when I supposedly stand out instead of her... So I wear this to hide myself... I guess it isn't that bad..." She admitted softly.

Duncan led the way upstairs, gesturing for Kane to follow them, and to their apartment. Anya moved in first, taking Kyleighs hands. "Common, sit and Duncan will get you both something to drink." she said softly. She would have done it, but she didn't know the place too well yet, leaving her vulnerable without her walking stick or little clicker.

James loosened his hold a little, but not much "Love...everything will be alright I promise," he said softly.

Krystas eyes saddened "But....thats not what sisters should do. I should know, in my pack we're like family. " Krysta lightly touched Avera's arm "Av....I'm so sorry you have to deal with a sister who treats you like that. Is there anything I can do to help you?"

Kyleigh sat obediently, Her light purple eyes were lifeless and void of emotion as her tears fell silently. She didn't say a word or move again.

Kane walked away and went to a bar where he sat down and rubbed his face 'what have I done?'

Sasha sniffled and whispered "Things only get better to get worse around me"

"Sasha...please don't think like that... " James said sadly "we will all be ok, you, me, and our baby, I promise..."

Duncan shut and locked the door tight, moving to the kitchen to work on drinks as Anya sat next to her new friend "Kyleigh?..." She didn't know what to say or do, which made her feel terrible. She looked over at Kane "why did you say it was her fault?" She asked, having not heard a chunk of the first part of the conversation.
