"What happened?" He asked softly, putting a hand on her shoulder.

James frowned sadly and picked up the old wolf. He looked at lex and pointed for him to go out with him with a glare.

Lex stayed still refusing to get up and slowly started playing the piano, the music that came out of it sounded dark and cold.

Kyleigh's bangs hid her eyes as she whispered "Father did something unforgivable to me when he was drunk.....and the darkness within me awake.....so I killed him. Mother only saw me kill him, not what he'd done to me and was enraged. I ran off as best as I could until I blacked out and felt the darkness I control take me over and push me to keep going. When I came to my brother was standing over me looking like he was going to kill me. I was forced to sing again the next day even though my body was weak and everything hurt...My mother......started drinking heavily because of me" her voice shook as she fought her tears and whispered "She never listened when I tried to explain what my father had done to me. I repressed the darkness all the time, it was my gift to be able to have such control....my brother listened to me try to tell my mother once and started changing around me, he wasnt so angry all the time anymore.... Then my mother came on stage one night drink and started screaming at me. she ended up stabbing me in my side with a broken beer bottle and my brother.....came out to my side and slammed into her. She said.....everything....was...my fault" Tears dripped off Kyleigh's chin as she shook hard still fighting the tears in vein as they fell. "She threw my brother out of the way and fell ontop of me, she went to break my neck but the darkness ripped through me and ended up killing her too..... I ended up passing out and when I woke up I found myself in a hospital room....The news said my mother died of alcohol poisoning, but it was me that did it to her." She slowly pulled away from Duncan feeling the pain of everything again. "My brother d....died 4 years ago because of a man who tried to attack me and he jumped in the way....after that.....I ran away and found myself at Kane's door"
Her ears were down and her tears wouldn't stop falling though she tried to stop them
"The reports on the news.....said my mother was in a drunken rage and thats why she stabbed me and my show for the night was cut short....but it was....because she was so angry at me for killing father"

"Oh.. I'm so sorry.." He said softly "but, none of them are your fault. Your parents... Did that to themselves... And your brother died to save you."

James hissed lowly, wanting to yell at him but knew it would be worthless. He walked closer after setting the old wolfs body down and used his tail to drag lexs seat away from the piano.

Kyleigh kept crying softly but didn't say a word.

Lex growled as he was yanked. his growl was deeper than normal now that he couldn't hear it.

"Don't even." James said lowly, "you had us all worried sick! Do you know the stress you put your girl under?"

"Shhh.. Hey it's ok, it's ok" he said softly, pulling her into his arms "it's alright"

As Lex stood the room began to heat up as though a fire was in the room as a white flame danced down the stairs glowing brightly.
Lex stared at it in shock and backed away from it.


Kyleigh cried softly into Duncans chest and wrapped her arms around him in a hug

Duncan fought off a blush. He felt terrible for Ky, and wanted to comfort her, but he just met this girl...he never attached to anyone this fast.

James stared at the flame in surprise. (WB DX)

The flame slowly formed into Sasha and stared at Lex.
He backed up in fear shuddering.
Sasha walked past James and up to Lex her heat was slowly starting to hurt him. Her flames suddenly turned blue and got hotter making him scream but Sasha never said a word or looked away from him.

Kyleigh suddenly jerked back, shot out of the room, darted out of the apartment and our of the entire building before running off. She gripped her head tightly as she ran and fell to her knees in the center of town screaming.

Kane looked up from his phone and froze seeing his niece and something nearly invisible, even to him, pulsating around her.
He frowned and sighed "Well.....nows as good a time as any to die" He walked up to Kyleigh letting her power rip at him making him look like cuts were suddenly appearing on him. He knelt in front of Kyleigh as she screamed holding her head and forced her to stand. blood dripped from his nose but Kane payed it no mind. "Kyleigh Cordillia Sindell, come to your senses before you destroy yourself and this town along with it. You are needed, and wanted here. You have to fight this, otherwise you're as weak as your parents and just as stupid as them"
Kyleigh screamed at a high pitch causing a lot of people around her to wince and cover their ears.
Kane hugged her tightly and growled deeply in her ear.
Kyleigh suddenly passed out in his arms but her hair was mostly brown/black now and only the tips were pink.
He sighed softly and gently picked her up. "This is why I tried to keep you away from people you might like....because you just aren't ready for love and fighting yourself yet."

"Sasha, that's enough." James said softly, "don't harm our friend"

"Ky!" Duncan called, running after her and ignoringing the pain in his ears. When he caught up to her, he saw her passed out in Kane's arms, making him snarl angrily.

[Amiko]

Kane slowly lifted his eyes and growled deeply. his right eye was filled with blood. "You idiot. How dare you make her feel special. She fights herself every day, and to fall in love with someone like you takes away from her concentration!"
He held his niece in his arms. Kyleigh's eyes were shut and she looked asleep she was able to hear everything 'love? what is he talking about?? I don't even know what that is so how can I fall in it with Duncan?'

Sasha stood still before vanishing.

Lex slid to the floor shaking hard and holding his head. Sasha had ripped into his head and had been burning his mind, not only with images of Aela but with her flames as well. Lex was in more pain than he had ever been in before
