Sasha slowly opened her eyes that were now a dark green, where her eyes were normally a bit lighter. Her eyes searched James's face for a minute before a lightbulb clicked in her head. Her eyes quickly teared up as she threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.

Torrie lay dazed on the ground and slowly sat up holding her head.

Eira glanced down at the reptile and looked away again. Her mind was focused elsewhere.

Tsume slowly opened her eyes and jumped slightly realizing she'd fallen back asleep.

A woman sat on Lex's healed lower back with her hands hovering slightly over the rest of him. She never looked away from her work but an old white female lynx looked up from her seat at Lex's head and stared at Aela "Who are you?"
Her voice was calm but there was ice underlying the calmness and her eye was a dull grey.

James held her tightly against him. "Oh thank god..." He said, burrying his face into her neck "your safe."

Duncan want there, but a thud followed by a curse could be heard in the front room. "Damn books."

The man slowly turned his head to a room with a white door and an odd rune carved into it before looking back at Aela.

Eira was outside the house in no time and looking up at the sky when Torrie shot off the ground and slammed into her. Eira slid back a little but showed no interest in the girl before her. in a flash she was in a tree a little ways away sitting down and staring off towards the rest of the city. 'Duncan...'

sasha Whimpered laying on the floor and closed her eyes. She'd never been without her flames before, so for them to just be gone now, she was cold and confused.


Lilly turned her head away and whispered "You're still just a kid."

Tale chuckled "Yea I am, but I know when someone's hurting, and I know how it feels to be in love" He looked at her "I know you're going through a lot of pain, and I want to do anything I can to help you. I don't care if I get hurt or not, when I set my mind to something I finish it"

Eira cracked a slight smirk listening to Anya but t vanished quickly "You still have jokes little one" Her tail pulled itself up onto teh branch she was sitting on and draped its self across her lap.

Torrie snarled lowly and stood up only to stagger slightly and slam into a tree.

Sasha whimpered and clung to James shivering hard.

Tsume looked towards the door and smiled softly hearing Duncan. She never though twice about how much pain her body would be in, all she thought about was she wanted to see him. She calmly stood and felt a fiery pain rip through her spine and down to her legs but she stayed up and calmly walked to the door staggering slightly. Once she reached it she calmly opened the door and walked into the living room with one ear cocked and the other down.

The woman stayed silent for a moment and pointed at the small boy, "and you."


Lilly closed her eyes and turned her head away "You can help me, by leaving Tale" a gust of wind shot around her and lifted her up some.

Aela kept her son a bit closer. "He's our son. Who are you?"

Duncan was picking up books and placing them in the shelves he finally finished putting up. Even after all this time, they were still unpacking something's. He looked up and saw Tsume walking. He smiled happily "hey! Your up... You hurting still?"

James kissed her head and nuzzled her. "My love.. I'm so sorry I made a mess of everything."

"That was no joke. Things have changed since you been away. We missed you." She said softly.

Demeter nodded softly. "Your brother is a spirited boy, good heart, the elder likes him." She said, a bit absentmindedly.

Tale's eyes widened as he looked up at her again "Wait what? no, please..." He said, he couldn't think of what else to say, he just stuttered as he reached for her hand

Eira looked down at Anya and let her tail brush against her old friend's cheek. "There isn't much to miss"

Tsume nodded slightly and looked at the floor. "Yea, but I wanted to come be with you"

Sasha shook her head hard and whimpered whispering "No. It wasn't your fault my love. Sometimes things just have to happen."

When Tale's hand touched Lilly's a blast of wind shot out of her and sent her flying up into the air. Fear was her biggest trigger for her powers, and she hated it.
