Tale noticed the shift in weather as he ran, slightly confused by it. He focused on Lilly and finally caught up, he saw her on the ground trembling and looking at a man just ahead, he paused for a second, not knowing who he was, ran to to her side. He knelt down behind her "Lilly, are you ok?"

James walked back to the house with torrie in his arms, mixed emotions running through his heart. When he reached the house, he could smell lexs burned body, and Aela... And something else. He hurried inside to see an odd stain and the couch crushed. James smiled sadly. "Seems I'm an uncle now..." He mumbled quietly. He tarried torrie upstairs and to an extra room. He placed her on her belly and left so go retrieve supplies.

Aela looked alarmed when lexs arm fell. "Lex?" She said worriedly.

The husband driving glanced at the man laying in teh back seat, then his wife and sighed speeding up slightly and mumbled under his breath "You old fool. You pushed too hard to help that boy." He then glanced at Aela and her son before looking ahead of him as he drove out of the town "He'll be fine miss. He's just as drained as my wife is, that's all"

Lex lay still in the backseat aside from a slow rise and fall of his chest.

Torrie slowly opened her tired eyes and looked around the room, this place smelled so much like James. She stayed on her stomach unable to move much and let her mind wander.

Lilly screamed, and when she did wind shot around her pushing everything away from her. The doctor stared at her and smirked "Well well, look who finally showed themselves"

The fire at the entrance of the mine flared brightly and grew stronger as a scream echoed inside the mine, one that was shrill and filled with pain.

James came back and pulled up a chair. He sighed as he sat down and stirred a thick green ointment in a jar. "Your awake." He said quietly, emotionless. He was doing all he could from exploding his rage and pain... Torrie was hurt, so he tried to keep his mind on that.

Aela looked at lex, sighing in relief when she saw him breathing. She looked at the man. "Your wife is gifted... I owe you both so much." She said softly.

Tale fell back slightly because he was sitting against his knees, when the man spoke he looked up at him "What are you talking about?" Tale asked, he thought about it and came to the conclusion that she didn't want him here, he got to his feet and growled, his ears laid back and he bared his fangs, if this guy wanted to hurt her then Tale wouldn't let him

The man frowned as he drove and shot past a hospital, "You can thank us later"

Torrie breathed shakily and whispered "Yea..James.....why....why would you be such a fool to try and go into a fire mine like that? You should know....how dangerous that is....and that you can't interrupt..."

The flames at the mine glowed brighter before imploding into the mine before the flames vanished and smoke billowed darkly from the mine.

The doctor smirked and looked at Tale "And what are you supposed to be? You aren't one of ours...."
Lilly's eyes glowed slightly as she screamed again and shot into the air but stayed in the air with the air holding her there.

"I was badly burned a few months ago by my wife. I owe her in a way, my scales grew back and I can withstand her fire more than before." He said. "You were the idiot by jumping infront. Of the flames.

Aela looked at the man, holding her son a little closer. "Where are you taking us?"

Torrie weakly pushed herself up and growled softly at the pain before whispering "Thats her fire....but the fire at the mines is ancient....or have you forgotten what I told you when we were together, about healing fires and ancient ones...."

He glanced back at his wife and pushed the car to go faster "To a hospital, but not here. The ones you know of will ask too many questions, then press charges where they shouldn't and they'll poke their noses into places that will make your lives impossible. Trust me, I've been through my fair shake of things like this. And considering he's still famous even after leaving his music behind, it would be a headache to your whole family."

"She shares their blood, her fire is their's. I would have been fine till I got to her." He growled, lightly punching her back down. "You had no right torrie."

Aela looked at him but didn't say a word for a moment. She rocked her son in her arms. "Why help us?"

Torrie winced and glared at him "The fires change in every generation. Some are gentler than others....but I had every right to stop you......I still love you James..."

Sasha slowly walked out of the mine with 2 tails and blood trickling down her forehead. She looked around slowly, looking lost and began to walk away holding herself together.
