Torrie felt the magic in the flames and threw James away from the mine but couldn't move herself before black and white flames shot from the entrance and scorched her back making her scream and hit the ground. She lay shaking in pain and growled deeply "You're.....an id....iot..... The.....fire is....isn't normal.....its there......to keep....whoever she is....inside....."

Lilly flinched feeling eyes on her and slowly glanced up but her eyes were drawn to a blurr shooting towards her.

Tamarra ran as hard as she could to get away from her twin. He was going to get her killed....and he hadn't even cared. Before Tamarra realized where she was she slammed into Nash and groaned feeling like she'd ran into a brick wall.

Lilly moved slowly away from the two. She was easily intimidated by others and was extremely shy. She wasn't paying attention when she was moving away and stopped at a restaurants door just as a couple were coming out making the door slam into her face. She staggered back a little and hit the ground on her knees feeling dazed and slightly dizzy.

Lex stayed where he was and smiled softly "its just a burn....I'll live. Nnot like I haven't been burned before"

Tsume lay limp in Duncan's arms. Her ears were down and back as they had been when she'd closed her eyes after seeing what she'd done to Anya.

James snarled moving her out of the way. 'Damn it torrie!' He grabbed her in his jaws and placed her further away. 'I would have been fine! I know of it's magic, I'm assuming either it's my bloody father in-law back from the grave or my mate herself. She wouldn't have harmed me Torrie. Stay here.' He said lowly and returning to try again.

"Not like this." She said softly, running one hand lightly over his wounds. "At least lay back on what's left of the couch." She looked down at their son, who was watching lex. "Think he wants daddy."

"Hun look at me! Common Tsume look at me!" He called, holding her closer.
Anya's fingers started to twitch before groaning, "damn that hurt. Triple whammy today..."
"Are you ok?" Duncan asked.
"No... I can't see." Duncan snarled lowly "not funny Anastasia!"
"I was just trying to ease the tension... Can't move my body yet... Save for my head and arms." She huffed. "She ok?"
"I don't know, she won't respond to me." He said worriedly.

Tale opened his eyes and saw a girl get hit with a door by the restaurant. he hurried over to help her up. "Are you alright?" he asked as he took his headphones off with one hand and held out his other hand for her to take

Lilly had tears in her eyes from the pain and glanced up at Tale. She quickly looked away as her tail wrapped around herself. From her appearance most people thought Lilly was outgoing and outspoken when in reality she was shy and quiet. She nodded slightly and slowly stood up on her own keeping her eyes averted.

Torrie grabbed James's ankle stopping him but didn't move otherwise.
In the white flames at the entrance of the mine was a dark red figure made of flames, which looked like Sasha's father but it was a bit taller.

Lex sat on the floor and winced. "To be honest.....I've been burned worse once. But this time I got burned because I was trying to save someone, not because I was trapped in a room."

A weak breath slowly shook Tsume's body but she never opened her eyes or moved otherwise.

Tale slightly closed his hand and slowly brought it to his side again. "mind if I take a look?" he asked "just to make sure you're not bleeding?" he asked quietly as he glanced at the couple who walked out. He called them jerks in his mind as his eyes moved back to the girl "that seemed like quite a hit" he mumbled "are you sure you're ok?"

Aela looked at him with sad eyes "Sasha both times?" She asked quietly, trying to help him sit with her free arm.

James hissed lowly at her, 'let go. I must do this.' He gently pried his foot away and walked up slowly to the figure, returning to his normal form. He looked at the figure "please. I need to see my mate."

"Go let her.down. I'll be in there soon."
"Anya no." Duncan growled.
"I don't think she needs healing brother, just friends at her side." She said quietly.
Duncan sighed but nodded. "Alright." He gently scooped Tsume up in his arms and carried her to her room.

Lilly took step away and spoke softly "I'm....fine" Her voice was barely above a whisper. She kept her eyes on the ground and kept her breathing quiet. If people weren't looking at her, no one would know she was even there.

Lex chuckled softly and relaxed once he was sitting "Yea. But I'l never hold it against her"

a deep rumble came from in the mines 'never....none shall pass through while a fire bearer of this family is being evaluated and dealt with'

Tsume stayed limp in Duncan's arms though a few tears slowly rolled down her cheeks.

"Please! She's my wife, I need to be by her side. I need her to know I'm here!" James begged. "She is my everything, more valuable that you'll ever know, please just let me see her."

"I wouldn't either...is she ok?" She asked softly, rocking the baby in her arms.
The baby's ears flickered about adorably, every time he heard something new they were quick to follow, making Aela smile a little. "Silly baby boy."

Duncan held her closer, "shhh we're all ok now. They're gone."

Tale tilt his head slightly, he could barely see her face. she was pretty cute too. From what he could see, she didn't look hurt. Tale nod slightly and step back a little "ok..." he gulped quietly, unsure what to say now, but he was sure he didn't want to leave
