Avera flinched slightly at Krysta's touch, but didn't mind it after a while. She sighed, folding her ears back sadly as Krysta told her what a real sister was supposed to be like. The truth was, they were actually Step-sisters, and were nothing alike... Kimono didn't even try being nice to her... Avera sighed gently and looked down. "Thank you... But, I'm afraid we will never be able to have that bond... Actually, she was the girl that looked like a Snow leopard that just walked into the Diner... I'm not sure if you saw her..." She said to her quietly.

Kyleigh never said a word. her tears stopped but her eyes didn't return to their pretty bright color again. Kane's words were echoing in her head that it was her fault that her parents died.

Krysta's fur stood on ends "THAT....was your sister?? Avera......sweetie....she's not safe to be around. I understand she's your sister....but still.....there's something dangerous about her." Krystas eyes held concern in them


Sasha slowly looked at James sadly "How do you know that James?"

Anya frowned sadly "Kyleigh... Common what happened?..." She asked softly. Duncan frowned "Anya, leave her be for awhile..." He said softly, handing the girls some tea and moved away with his coffee. Anya sighed and hung her head, standing up and slowly making her was out of the room.

"I won't let it... I'll stay up every time you sleep, make sure your safe and happy... But they're just dreams love.. They can't hurt you unless you let them" he said

Kyleigh's tea sat in her hands still. She slowly took a deep breath and whispered "I'm sorry" She slowly stood, sat the tea down and walked towards the door numbly, as though she were on autopilot.

Kane sat and began drinking trying to numb the pain of what he'd done.

Kyleigh's body shuddered as she walked. She felt weak and sick from not eating or sleeping.

Sasha stared at James and sniffled. She cuddled closer to him and rested her head against his chest and whispered "I love you James"

Duncan sat up and took her arm "hey. Both you and Kane need to calm down... And there a mod of idiots out there that is ready to jump you. Stay, rest, I promise your safe, and I have food on the way."

Anya sat in her room and pondered. She could feel the heartache her uncle caused her... And wanted to know why. She took a deep breath and musher end her courage. She took a small cylinder form her nightstand and opened her window to the fireescape, tapping along the railing as she went, just enough fr her to hear as she moved down to find Kane.

Kyleigh flinched at Duncan's touch but blinked slowly. She looked around as though confused then looked down at him. a chill shot through her, she felt embarrassed again and nervous in front of Duncan and more so with his hand on her. She shivered slightly and looked down nervously, never fighting him.

Kane relaxed at the bar and stared down at his drink as a 2 women started hitting on him and pressing close to him.

Sasha relaxed , as soon as she did she fell back to sleep in James's arms.

Duncan saw the embarrassed look on her face and immediately let do "sorry... Umm.. So would you stay? I rather not have you mobbed to death... And at least let me feed you...you look hungry" he said softly with his own embarrassed look as he ran a hand through his white hair.

With time, Anya caught Kane's scent, though heavily mixed in with drinks. She grumbled slightly and tapped her cane to the bar. She opened the door and her mental images picked up. Two females around an relax Kane.. That made her growl. She walked up to them "excuse me ladies, but I'd like a chance to speak to this man about a rather distraught woman he left hanging" she said, ears flickering about as she looked at them with her blank stare.

James smiled softly and kissed her head as she slept, keeping his promise and staying awake.

Kyleigh nodded and smiled warmly "Thank you Duncan." Her voice was soft, when she was nervous she didn't use the voice everyone was used to but her REAL voice, which was soft and sweet. She glanced at him again and smiled giggling slightly. Her pink hair made her violet eyes stand out. Her tail wagged slightly as she looked at Duncan though her stomach was knotted up and butterflies were attacking it like no tomorrow. She'd never been this nervous before and didn't know why she was now. Or why just THINKING about Duncan made her blush.

The women glared at Anya "Get lost"
"Yo whats up with her eyes. they're freaky".
Without a word, Kane reached back, grabbed Anya, and pulled her up to him. He then sat her next to him at the bar and finished his drink before ordering another. His bangs were covering his eyes in shadows.
The two women glared at Anya but went back to being all over Kane, his tail lashed behind him once, the air around him seemed electrified and cold. They both gasped and backed away. Once they were away from him and Anya the air seemed to go back to normal.

Lex slowly woke up and yawned. When he noticed Aela he smiled and held her close to him. 'So....I got another chance in this life to be a father....but now.....I just.....I wish I could say what I wanted to the other night to her....but theres no point when I can't hear her voice' his eyes saddened slightly.

Duncan smiled softly, then chuckled "so your the famous Kayla eh?" He said softly, gesturing for her to sit again. He had a feeling that's who she was, but he's a person that doesn't get all excited when a famous person is around.

Anya yipped a bit when she was sat down, not liking being off the ground, but sat there anyway. She listened quietly when the two females went back to flirting and the sudden shift in the air made her fur stand up for a moment. "I don't think it's wise to have another" she said softly.

Aela woke to lex moving. She smiled softly before noticing his eyes. She tilted her head softly, the gesture asking way ws wrong

Kyleigh sat back down and looked down blushing lightly "Yea. I just....I had to give up my singing after my brother died. Mom and dad were first....then 4 years ago my brother Jake died too...without him I just didn't see a point in trying to sing after that, and I still don't." She smiled warmly not showing the pain she felt. She missed her family dearly, but she wouldn't cry again. Not right now. "I've been with Kane for the past 3 years....He's kinda rough around the edges....but he's all I've still got"

Kane didn't say anything to Anya.
The bartender looked at Anya "Hey, you can't be in here"
Kane looked up at him and the man started coughing unable to breath until Kane looked back at his drink. Kane sat quietly just staring into his drink.

Lex shook his head and smiled softly before kissing her head.
