I finally came to a stop for a break and sat Nathan up on the handle bars and he took off his helmet and was back to his old self

"Lexi!" Sydney called, running past Jake to get to her. "What's up?"
"What do you think?"
"Rough night huh?" She frowned, earning a nod. "...Who're you looking at?" She asked, turning around, before looking back at Lexi. She was silent for a moment, before exclaiming, "Oh my god do you fancy the playboy?!" Lexi only sighed, and looked at Sydney.
"Hey do you think you could yell that a little louder? I think that deaf old lady might not have heard you."
"So you do?"
"I didn't say that."
"You don't have to say it if It's true."
"You know he's standing right there?"
"Yeah, so?"

Then Nathan set his helmet down and 'tackled' me off the quad into the mud and we began play fighting and he squealed and rubbed mud all over my face

Sydney glanced back at Jake, and sighed. "Well, he didn't hear me." She shrugged.
"Good."
"I don't even think he's noticed you. ither that, or he plain doesn't give one."

He ended up shoving my face down in the dirt on my side just for me to notice Lexi was there. I still had a smile as I looked at her and it was specifically for her

Lexi looked at him, and smiled a little.
"Come here, your mascara's run again." Sydney said, wiping off the mascara that had run.
"Ugh, SYdney! You're like my mother!"
"Well, you gotta look good if you're gonna impress him." She said with a shrug.
"Sydney, I don't like him ." She frowned.
"Yes, you do. I can tell by your voice." She smirked. Lexi frowned, and whispered to her.
"Ok, you got me."

I turned back to Nathan and started tickling him in the grass as we were caked with mud and laughed

"So does he know?" Sydney asked. lexi shrugged in response, as Sydney smirked. "Everyone! Lexi fancies-" She yelled, only to be cut off when a hand went over her mouth. She frowned, and when she was sure Jake was looking, she pointed at Lexi, then at Jake, and then made a heart shape with her hands, nodding.
