Adaine
Adaine finished her breakfast, which had once been a large bowl of cold cereal and fruit on the side, and began to walk out of the cafeteria. But she spotted Tara and some girl sitting at another table, and decided to discover just how much courage she really did have. Once she was but a few meters away, Adaine blinked, and her step faltered by a hair's breadth. The second girl, tall, slim and black-haired, was the very same person that she had 'met' last night. Growling as she noticed her feathers puffing up with uneasiness, she shook her head and continued to approach the two. "Hey Tara," she called out, in her usual, almost-too-quiet-to-hear voice.
Eliton
Without a nod of thanks Eliton unfolded himself from the boat's cramped space and stepped, without any expression, into the knee-deep water. Reaching underneath his seat he grabbed his pack and, after slinging it over his shoulder, turned and waded onto shore. "You're welcome," the driver yelled at his receding back, which Eli promptly ignored. As soon as he entered the tree-line the motor started, and he didn't need to turn to know that the boat was already well on it's way back to where ever it was going. Soon enough Eli found a well-used path, tied the straps tighter, and set off on a mile-eating jog.
