Dani took Jess' hand and pulled herself up with the other girl's help. "Thanks. Didn't feel especially skillful though,". She laughed a little, then turned as Red mentioned other weaponry. "Yeah, I suppose I really should get used to being able to use at least one other weapon besides a bow - I can't expect my enemies to always be far away from me." All in all, however, she felt surprisingly good.

Ethan nodded. "I'll go get you something from the cafe," he offered.

Jess smiled. "I can't believe my weapons held up. Could be useful in the coming war," she commented.

Aurora pouted. "Can I pretty please come with you?" She batted her eyelashes up at him.

Ethan smirked. "Don't charmspeak me, missy. So what do you want?" he asked.

Aurora giggled. "I swear on my life that I wasn't charmspeaking you. What you feel is allure. Like I told you, I can look like anything your heart desires." She paused, batting her eyelashes up at him. "I want to come with you."

Ethan rolled his eyes. "Fine, but I'll have to help you walk," he gave in.

Lilac smiled up at him then frowned. "I can walk perfectly fine by myself."

Ethan grinned. "Fine, but I get first dibs on the blueberry muffins," he decided.

Aurora narrowed her eyes at him. "I'll race you there." She was trying to see if he'd let her run.

Ethan snorted. "In your condition? How about no. I guess I can sacrifice my blueberry muffins to help you get there without collapsing," he joked.
