Midge smirked and stifled a laugh when the elf immediately took off, quickly bashing into a tree that he then climbed with great anxiety. She loosened the grip on her bow and advanced toward his hideout, pausing a few paces away to gaze up at him with a curious expression. "Whoa, it's okay. I won't hurt you, there's no need to hide, I assure you. I can take you to others, for an explanation, some food, and a place to live, if you'd like. Trust me, those trees won't be such a good home when the Benshnere and Twirnot come bounding down this way." She warned, her voice soft and comforting, yet it held a sense of seriousness until a twinkle found it's way into her eyes. "Well, if you come with me, you might as well do it by foot... Hoping tree to tree will be a lot slower." She advised with a playful smirk. As she talked, the soft noises of creatures as they awoke from their slumber met her slender ears. Jimpers, Nuabis... It was usually closer to the afternoon before the Twirnots began to rampage, but nonetheless, the thin tree this elf had chosen would be easily demolished in their hurried path of destruction.

Walking through the forest was quite a tedious task. Because of his size, Yadu was unable to travel for long distances. However, today, he wanted to see new things, perhaps meet new people and maybe collect weird and unusual objects. The little Yishru found the terrain away from his home to be quite difficult to navigate. The grass continued to grow longer and the ferns blocked his way; and so, when he finally met the trunk of a tree, he promptly began to climb. Traveling by tree was the typical method used by the Yishru. On foot, many people might trample you or not see you, kicking you across the way. In fact, Yadu could recall a moment in which a traveler nearly squashed him. That terrible moment when his life could have been ended. He was thankful that he was able to scurry away before he met his doom. Now, he scaled the large tree until he reached its branches and began to hop from one to another. It wasn't long until he hopped over an elf that was in a tree for some reason. A female bellow was trying to convince the male to come down. Silly elves, hiding in trees was only necessary when the Benshnere came out.

[ I'll just do a quick intro for Nuabi and then wait for everyone else. :3 ]



Unai's darkly colored eyes opened quickly as the scent of morning caressed her snout. The morning dew, golden rays of sunlight, flowers, newly blossomed and in need of pollination, all had a special scent that acted as a symphony, starting the day on a gentle note. The delicate creature stood, stretching her short legs as she allowed her wings to vibrate, the small beads of dew that clung to them sliding off effortlessly. Her lengthy snout stretched open as an almost inaudible yawn escaped her tiny body.
The Nuabi's instincts immediately kicked in, her wings bursting out in a flurry of movement as she rocketed into the sky.
When she thought she was up high enough - Nearly touching the clouds - Uani pressed her paws into her thin frame and allowed her sleek body to fall in an arch toward the ground, pulling up in a swift motion when she came dangerously close to the outstretched branches of a tree. As her keen vision focused, she slowed to hover at the base, where a lush berry bush stood. Pleased with her find, she quickly plucked a small red morsel off of it's branch and devoured it slowly, enjoying the sweet burst of flavor.
Her feast, however, was quickly halted when she gazed to the top of the tree, to see a rather frightened elf clinging to it's trunk. She continued to hover, staring up at him and then at the small female a few paces away.
Finally deciding they were of no threat, she turned her attention back to the bush, snatching another berry. The red juice now outlined her thin snout as her needle-like teeth pierced through the small fruit's vulnerable skin.
As much as she tried to ignore them, Uani couldn't help but stare at the two elves as she enjoyed her new find, getting quite a bit of amusement out of the unusual scene before her.

It's a lie. Sorian twiddled around with the thought. She won't hurt you. He struggled to come to a conclusion as he processed the rest of her words. Benshneres and Twirnots. Who were they...? He was a stranger in a foreign world with new people, unknown creatures and... perhaps... a new way of thought.
But no, he wasn't ready for that yet. This was very likely just a long dream - the longest dream he'd ever had. Or afterlife - he had been on the verge of death. It was so amusing and incredibly impossible that he forgot himself for a moment. His blue eyes looked at the woman.
"What... is this place? Who are you? I.. Is my brother here?"

Midge smirked, rolling her eyes. "Ah, sorry! Forgot, you're new around here... Well, this place doesn't really have a name, honestly. Everyone calls it 'The Story Book World,' really..." She explained with a shrug. "I'm Midge." She paused, glancing around for a moment before gazing back up at him as she considered his next question. "Well, I don't know. It doesn't seem like there's anyone around... You tell me. Usually, siblings kind of appear side by side." She admitted. Now that she thought about it, she didn't think she remembered a pair of siblings ever coming through... "I would say no, I guess." She admitted with a shrug.
The sound of soft humming made her pause and glance to the bottom of the tree, where a small colored animal hovered close by, feasting on a bush of lush red berries. A Nuabi. Another sound met her well tuned ears, as well... A very faint rustle. She glanced over her shoulder, examining the ground briefly, pausing only to gaze at a suspicious-looking mushroom. It seemed to have moved, but it was hard to tell until she noticed a flash of blue. Feet?

OOC: Well, he is in the tree, but that's okay!

Yadu looked down at the elves bellow him, waving to the girl who had spotted him. They seemed to be friendly enough to show himself. He found no need to hide just yet. It wasn't until there was a sound not too far off. A baby Twirnot had awaken and was running through the trees in search of something to play with or snack on. Instantly, the Yishru lowered himself to the bark and covered his blue body with the mushroom on his head. The Twirnots were not the smartest creatures, however, they were fantastic at trapping Nuabi's, Jimpers and elves. Their dumb state came into play when they tried to eat the Nuabi. Once the venom sacs were broken, the Nuabi's toxic poison would spill into the Twirnot, causing paralysis. Staying paralyzed for so long, caused death. For now, they needed to be unseen until the baby was found out by its mother which would call him back to the nest. Lucky for them, the Twirnot had not heard them yet and had not seen them due to the fact that his eyes had not opened yet. He was guided purely on smell and hearing.

Aurum

Aurum accepted the slice of meat awkwardly, taking it from the other elven man with care. He looked at the food with interest, examining it like it were the most interesting thing in the world. "Friendly huh..." he wondered at that. Aurum knew that very few humans were actually friendly, but he reminded himself that these were not exactly... humans. It was interesting in a way. Everything was exotic, but not odd. It felt strangely nostalgic, like he had been here before. But that was impossible. Maybe in another life... He looked up from the piece of meat, his eyes wandering from Egrassa to Flynn in interest. Apparently, they knew each other. Aurum addressed Flynn, although his gaze was set on some of the intricate elven homes. "Where exactly am I going to live from now on?"

Nix

The morning was pleasant to say the least. Sunlight beamed through from the several windows in Nix's arboreal home, playing with her hair and tickling her face in a warm embrace. The lean elven youth was curled in her leafy bed, clutching her thin, fur-covered blanket. Around her, her stark white hair spread out, resembling a blanket of snow. As the sunlight further teased her, she saw no choice but to awaken. Her eyes fluttered open, much like the first time she had appeared in this world.
Last night, she had arrived home with naught but the nagging of her failure in remembering anything about her past. At least that had lessened, she thought dismissively. She arose quickly, with a sense of purpose. Washing herself was quick, using the water basin in the bathroom and clothing herself with the usual leather armors. Before exiting, she snatched her matching cloak, raising it's hood to cover her hair. Despite the fact the elves were not sexist in general, a few of them were also capable of bad deeds. It was also safer to travel the lesser explored areas of the Story Book World under the pretense that you were male.
Closing the wooden door behind her, she took quickly to the forest. Luckily, she had been able to make her home in a decent tree a bit farther from town than most. Less questions would be raised, but there were other creatures in this world besides elves that could wish her harm.

OOC: That is alright, to be honest, I barely have muse to write at all for the moment.

Flynn looked back at the newcomer before gesturing towards homes that were up in trees, or that were crafted by the-already hollow-root system.
There are elves which craft homes for others. I assure you that we will be able to find you a home. If not today, you may stay with me or any of the other residents here. They would be more than happy to greet you and let you into their homes.
He noted before shaking the hand of a man whom was passing him. The greeted each other quickly before Flynn continued on his way. Under no circumstance would he pause. He must make sure that the newcomer-Aurum- was safe and that he did not need any medical attention. After all, the medicine here could work wonders, but they did not know which cured what. In come cases, the medicine would make the individual sicker because they did not know enough about the plants. Only the indigenous, in the village, knew what could stop bleeding, bring down a fever, or stop an infection.

Taking out another piece of dried meat, Egrassa chewed on it for a little while until a chunk finally came off before getting another piece and offering it to Flynn as he matched the elf's stride. He seemed impatient, like be was keen to get the job over with as quickly as possible. And he seemed to be in a rush as he hastily shook a passing elf's hand before continuing; Egrassa himself nodded in greeting to everyone he passed, for he was not one to shake hands, it took too long and imagine shaking everyone's hands! No, far easier to nod or raised his hand in greeting. "In the name of all things wonderful, why are you rushing, Flynn. Give him time to look around, get used to the sights and smells of the new world he's living in." He advised gently after swallowing his mouthful.
