      {| MIDGE| Age: 22 Years Old | Currently: On her way to the village |}

      Image
      Midge
      glanced around the edge of the forest, and up at the tree tops above her. Small droplets of dew slowly slid off of the towering leaves to fall peacefully in a tiny puddle to the ground beneath. It was a beautiful sight, this time of day. The sun had just begun to reach over the mountain peaks, and illuminated the beautiful world around her.
      Unlike many others, who resented it as a whole, Midge deeply loved the new realm they had been chosen to enter. In fact, each night she closed her eyes with a deep fear of waking up back home, praying that the magic would greet her newly opened eyes in the morning, as they had every morning before. That the sounds of foreign creatures would remain a soothing chorus, and her fantasy could continue.
      As her gaze returned to the road before her, Midge was shocked to see another elf aimlessly wandering ahead. She paused and watched him for a few moments, trying to decide if it would be a good idea to offer help, or quietly walk on. No, he seemed confused and slightly embarrassed, in need of an explanation. A small smile appeared on her lips as she recalled when she had first arrived. She was just as confused as he, if not more so.
      She cautiously began walking again, quicker, to reach the newcomer and explain. Maybe he would agree to a trip to the village? Flynn would be there, and he could explain and provide housing, or whatever else he may need.
      Only two or three feet away now, she tightened her grip on her bow and cautiously glanced around before her gaze returned to the elf in front of her.
      "Hey, are you okay?" She muttered softly. Her eyes remained weary and her hand brushed the quiver at her side, as she had encountered elves with a 'shoot first, think later' policy before, and wasn't taking chances.

      OOC: Hold on guys. I will post in a moment, I am just a tad angry right now. I typed a long and fantastic reply for Flynn and Yadu and my iPod blanked, deleting everything I just typed. I'm switching to my laptop to re-type. Give me a moment to calm down.

||Aurum | 24 | Male ||

An alternate world? he thought, his mind drifting again. It was a habit from the years of boredom. His minded twisted one thought into a series of different ones to keep the story going. He was a rather sharp lad, the problem was that no matter how intelligent he might be, there were certain things he could only learn by doing. Sometimes doing things required being able to see, and well, he was blind. Or had been. Had been... he blinked into reality again, marveling at the bright colors and taking it all in as if might disappear. He turned and followed the boy.

"My name is Aurum, may I ask for yours?" His words were polite and refined, albeit soft in tone. Not exactly hoarse, since it was indeed quite pleasing to the ear, but careful. Like the words he spoke were fragile things to be handled with care and vigilance. His steps were lighter, he noted, than when he had been in that other world. Thinking on it again, the sides of his head felt heavier... He raised a hand to touch the sides of his head, over his ears. The long fingers found a protruding horn. "That wasn't there before..." Aurum whispered to himself, surprised. Going a little lower, his ears also felt different. They were now angular and sharp, pierced by something that felt like a small rings. The shock of this was not as large as gaining his sight, so he decided to investigate the changes of his body another time.

[I really like that gif, and I think it kind of suits Aurum in a way. I won't be using it next-time but I thought you guys might like it, since it's rather pretty. ^3^ ]

      While continuing through the worn jungle path, Flynn looked back into his past to all of the people he had seen come. Generally, they were filled with questions about the world, and why they were here. Women were the worst. They would squeal at every new thing around them, which was just about everything. Their questions usually found a pattern about if something was alive, is it nice, or where the super market was. However, the men would usually ask him about the land and if there were any predators. Relevant questions. Now that he thought about it, the men were more interested in survival than the woman which was quite odd.

      As he thought back, one newcomer stuck out in his mind. Midge. Flynn had encountered Midge as one of his first newcomers. She was more in awe than everything else. In fact, she surprised him with her love for the world, and curiousness for what she had just been brought to. As a quiet guy, Midge was a stretch for him. Her questions flew, one after another. Fortunately for him, he didn't have to answer most of them, as, she was distracted easily at first and rarely gave him time to pull out a complete answer. After she had calmed down, her questions seemed to narrow about how much time they had here, and when they would have to leave. See, Midge wanted to stay here, she didn't want to leave.

      Flynn looked back at the boy behind him as he introduced himself, then started to get comfortable with his new body.

      My name is Flynn.

      As a Yishru, Yadu didn't have too much of a social life. That might have been due to the poor population, or the fact that he had never seen any of his kind anywhere around. However, for the moment, he simply went through his daily routine which consisted of finding berries, spearing snails, other insects for dinner, and occasionally looking for shiny and cool objects. Today, Yadu traveled outside of his little hole in the tree and wandered down the path which villagers used as a road. All he had to be careful of was plant pickers which might think he was a mushroom and pick him to sell on the market. Horrible death, dying in a stew. Today, it was an adventure day. A day to get out, not get killed, and hopefully find some cool stuff.

      OOC: Sorry, they are shorter than my original posts.

“The snow doesn't give a soft white damn whom it touches.” ― E.E. Cummings

BASICS

n a m e. || Nix "Nox"
n i c k n a m e. || Nix-Nox, Snow, Snow-Knight
b e h i n d. t h e. n a m e ||
Nix is a Latin naming meaning "Snow", whereas Nox is a Latin name meaning "Night". She does not remember her last name, as she has forgotten quite a lot about herself upon arrival to this place. The few friends that she has have an affinity for calling her Nix-Nox [Snow-Night] for various reasons, although mainly because it's a rather catchy nickname.

g e n d e r. || Female
a g e. || 21
p e r s o n a l i t y. ||
Nix is a very independent, self-reliant, and proud woman. She holds herself with care and grace, speaking with words as sharp as the sword she keeps are her hip. In more ways than one, she is quite like her namesake, the snow. Nix is not unfeeling, but is instead is incapable of a wide range of emotions. Sadness, loneliness, love, and hope are all foreign concepts to her. She has only heard of them, dismissing them as unnecessary. Her morals are sort of blurred, so she doesn't follow the main stream of thoughts. As long as she finds something fitting to her own goals and liking, she will accept it and carry it out with a sense of righteousness.
She is fond of children, being more gentle with them than anything else. Nix, with her own missing memories, feels a melancholic nostalgia at the thought of childhood. As for her thoughts of this world; she secretly admires its challenges and has no wish of returning to that rumored other world from which she came. Her ultimate goal is to regain her memories, no matter how painful they may be.

All in all, Nix can take care of herself.

a p p e a r a n c e. ||
Nix is tall and lean, well built to be strong without exposing too much muscle. Her skin is a pale olive color. She has long, stark white hair which she often hides under a hood. Her figure is rather curvacious, accompanied by perky breasts as expected of a woman in her prime. Although, she often hides herself under protective leather armors and cloaks. She prefers not to walk around nude, not because it disturbs her, but out of habit and necessity. Her face is appealing, even for the fair elven folk. Her pale eyebrows are angular and expressive. Her long, white eyelashes add an exoticism to her silvery blue eyes.

p a s t.
She remembers nothing from the human world besides her name, and even then she doesn't remember her last name. She is determined to find out why she forgot, however, and is on a journey to do exactly that. She has been here since she was 19.

a t t i r e. ||
She often wear leather armor, which is both light and protective. When at home, she wears any old top and bottom. She's rarely home, however. Spending most of her time traveling and exploring, so her armor is crucial.

t r a v e l l i n g. c o m p a n i o n. ||
She's rather independent, so it's unlikely she'll pair up with someone unless she is very fond of them.

w e a p o n. ||
She prefers using her sword, which was crafted by a blacksmith friend of hers when she first arrived. That same person also taught her how to wield a weapon in her defense. He is dead now, and she honors him by always using that same sword, keeping it sharp and well. Nix commonly refers to it as "Equitem", or Knight.

r e l a t i o n s h i p s. ||
No such thing has ever been called to her attention, so no. [Although I'd love to have her thrown into a small little romance.]

s k i l l s. ||
She is very well versed in combat, having the natural talent for it. She can intimidate easily, as well as charm. It's rare for Nix to not get it her way, whether it be through words or force.

f l a w s. ||
Nix lacks confidence at times, due to her blurred and forgotten past. It makes her uneasy and easily shaken. She is also terrible at things most girls are rather capable, such as dancing and sewing. Her best friend is her sword.

t i m e. ||
She has been here for a little over 3 years.

SORIAN
Male / 21 / Currently wandering around the edge of a forest
ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
Sorian stopped dead in his tracks. His calm demonour suddenly vanished at the sound of 'hey, are you okay?' and spared a glance behind him. A fair, green haired woman flashed into his view - and that was the most he could make out before looking down and then suddenly sprinting almost desperately into a run. S-someone's there! He thought, half dryly and half full of panic. Somewhere, in this place (and maybe time), his brother still cursed him. This was the last thing Sorian wanted, and that is, simply put, people. Company. Those superior.
Not having looked back, or up, since, the top of his head crashed against a tree branch. The jeweled headgear toppled to the ground, and the male fell with it - sure that the other person would despise his clumsiness and being altogether. He picked it up, thinking a bit to how new this place was to him, before scrambling behind to the shadow of the tree.

[ I'm finished with her form, despite how poopy it is. I'll tweak it up and all once I have more time and don't feel utterly frustrated at it.
I'm sorry that you lost your first reply! I kind of understand how frustrating it is, since it's happened to me several times. -sigh-]

Aurum

The world was taken in with eyes full of wonder. The occasional blue foliage did not seem strange at all to Aurum, but rather interesting. Birds with spikes that protruded from their heads, a flower that caught an insect to feast on, and even the occasional over-sized rodent that stopped to stare at the couple with eyes that shone a hundred different hues. It all did not seem weird to him, but rather fascinating. Like something out of a dream. He stopped to stroke the rough bark on a tree, which started oozing honey at his touch. Recognizing the golden liquid by it's sweet smell, Aurum scooped a bit off the tree with his fingers and licked at it hungrily. He had never tasted something so sweet.

He quickly resumed to follow Flynn's pace, noticing the occasional differencing expression. Aurum attempted to mimic it, but gave up and tired quickly at the experimentation. The surroundings quickly gave way to homes. The houses, however, were built at the bases and branches of the old trees. He could spot a few friendly faces, which smiled brilliantly at the newcomer. All the movement and business made Aurum uneasy, despite his unwavering impassive expression. Finally, Aurum managed to speak his worries out softly. "They are all friendly, yes?"

Well, it wasn't their friendliness he was worried about, but whether if there were even more. Having lived without much human contact for most of his life, large groups were bound to put him under stress.

[Sorry, I assumed that they were heading towards a village/going through one so...^^" ]

EGRASSA

    Heading through the forest, Egrassa kept pausing for a few moments to listen for the sounds of Flynn. There was no need; he could soon see him, and the newcomer, just ahead with their backs to him. It would not be best to come up behind them, so he circled around a couple of the houses and came out almost next to them. Hearing the newcomer's words, a small smile worked its way onto his face as he strode forwards. "All friendly," he confirmed. Delving his hand into his bag, the elf drew out a slice of dried meat. It was about as long as his entire hand and half as wide. Offering it to the newcomer, he continued, "they will help you if you ever need it," He turned his head to Flynn, "good morning, Flynn. Up and about doing your duties, I see." Egrassa inclined his head in a small silent greeting.

    (ugh, so small and crappy, sorry. I'm a bit distracted at the moment.)

      A grateful smile found its way to Flynns' face as Egrassa came from behind and to his side.
      As he said, all of them are usually friendly. Always a pleasure, Egrassa.
      He said and gave a smile to his companion. Thinking back, he had met Egrassa during one of his first trips to grab a newcomer. It was after Midge, another gentleman. He was an older guy that did not last too long after meeting face to face with a Twirnot.

      OOC: Sorry guys, a little bit of low muse for Flynn. I will post for Yadu in a moment.
