Brett had already found his friends and was leaning back against the window listen quietly about their holidays no-one bothered to ask about his. As they have learnt that he would punch them up make their school terms a living hell, chuckling quietly to himself Brett had never really bothered about becoming popular but of course it just automatically happened. "Jayden's Captain of the Gryffindor's" Brett rolled his eyes "No surprise their, He is quite good at it" he rubbed his neck and listened to his friends talk about Quidditch and that they would possibly win this year. Out of the corner of his eye Brett noticed alot of students walking slowly past their Compartment trying to get noticed by him and his friends, probably for them to get poplar or in their good books.

When Grace reached her friends compartment she sat down near the window and watched the scenery zoom past her. Of course her mind started to wonder so she wasn't listening to what her friends were talking about, but she had guessed it was either boys or how the holidays went. Grace took Basset out of his carry cage and let him curl up on her lap seeing it was going to be along trip to Hogwarts, she felt someone poking her so she looked up to see one of her friends. "What??" Grace asked in a confused voice her friends laughed and started asking their question "We asked if your going to try out for the Gryffindor quidditch team again?" Grace nodded before looking out at the window again, her friends never took an interested in Quidditch so she had never really talked about it unless their was a boy they liked on the team. "Well I think Jayden looks quite cute this year, do you think he'll go out with me??" Grace looked back at her friend in shock, not once as she mentioned she liked him but seeing he was the team captain this year it made sense she was now interested sigh Grace decided to join into the conversation "I don't now Polly ....... Jayden maybe not be looking for anyone at the moment" of course her friends just shrugged it off and move onto another subject.

Her attention was snapped back to reality as the compartment door slid open, ready to scare off another first year or two Vivian sat up and waited to see who entered. When she saw that it was Jayden Weasley she almost radiated her joy, oh how luck would have it! Not just some random first year who she could make go running back to mommy, but a Gryffindor! She recognized him easily enough, he was the Captain and Keeper for the Gryffindor team. They'd been matched against each other before of course.
"No, no one usually sits in the same compartment as myself." She responded with a sly smile, flourishing her arm in a welcoming gesture to him. "So feel free. I'm sure being so popular has it's drawbacks. But don't worry, no one will bother looking for you in here."

"Um thanks." He wasn't sure whether he should take it as a compliment but he decided just to ignore it from now. Pushing his trunk, broom and owl cage under the seat he sat on it facing Vivian. "Are you going to play quidditch this year?" He asked casually looking around.

Ginny rolled her eyes as Jayden came in and told them he would not be sitting in their compartment. He never did and she didn't know why she had gotten her hopes up this year. She rolled her eyes at Ravyn as the train lurched into a slowish roll. It sped up as she caught the last sight of her family.

Karishma smiled to herself as she thought back to when she received her letter from Hogwarts. Staring out the window, she wondered if she would make any friends this year. Despite being at Hogwarts for 4 whole years, she was still a bit of a loner. Karshi didn't do much else besides her school work and reading novels, it always seemed like too much of an effort to get along with the other students. She wasn't interested in the drama that everyone else gossiped about. Getting bored with staring out the window getting lost in her thoughts, she reached down to her bag sitting at her feet and pulled out a book. Making herself comfortable she opened her book and got lost in the story about a girl who was a creature called a Thyla.
