Alex nodded at what the others had said. They needed to regroup elsewhere. She moved the water barrier to become denser and help the material barrier Mikeal was holding up. She then turned to Ben. "Ben, how are we going to heal Erin's injuries? Are there first aid kits in the cabins we could grab or would we need to regroup in another hidden place? She let one of her arms drop because it was growing tired and gave her other arm a slight rest before reforming the liquid barrier.

Mikeal nodded "yeah, there should be one other cabin still togehter, the fire cabin, come on, let's get going... Alex, could you try and make the water into ice? it may hold the barrier better while we run" Mikeal said looking back at her as Element tried cutting through again

Erin looked at them "could we please hurry, I can't feel my leg anymore"

As Ben was holding Erin, he started guiding her forwards gently, careful not to leave her body weight fall on her hurt leg. He was oblivious to the man that had just threated to kill their friends. ''It's gonna be okay, just a little more,'' he tried to comfort her, and as he passed Alex, he smiled at her, his eyes full of pride and something else. Love, fear, desperation, who knows? He took her hand and stroked it, then continued towards the fire cabin with Erin, without answering the girl. He hated himself for leaving her like this but Erin needed help, immediately. And once he was sure that she was fine, he was going to return back to Alex. After a few long minutes, they finally got to the cabin, and Ben literally rushed inside and started looking for any meds. That's when he saw Damien and Bullet in one of the rooms. The girl was lying on the bed, while Damien seemed to be taking care of her gunshot wound. Ben led Erin in the same room and slowly placed her on another bed. He scanned the wood stuck in her leg and licked his lips, before looking up at her. ''I'll have to pull that out, okay?'' he told her, but stood still, giving her some time to think if she wanted him to do this.

Bullet's heartbeat fastened when she heard the fire shot from outside. What if her friends were in trouble? They certainly were, but she hoped that none of them was shot, like she was right now. Bullet clenched her fists, expecting the upcoming pain from the bullet that was going to be taken out of her hip. She hoped that it hadn't shattered into pieces, because this way it'd be harder. Way harder. And just then, someone flew inside the cabin. The girl instantly shot up, feeling a burning pain in her left side, as she let a low groan. When her vision returned to normal, she realized it was just Ben and...Erin. ''My God, what happened?!'' she screech, feeling the urge to stand up and help Ben carry the girl, but the pain was too strong, so she remained on the bed just staring at them. ''She was in the cabin when it fell apart..,'' he responded, and she saw him throwing his jacket away on the bed in a hurry, as he told Erin that he had to pull the wood out of her leg.

Meanwhile the soldier saw that nobody seemed to notice him, so he decided to take control in his hands. He took out something like a black ball from his pocket, which was as big as his palm, then raised it above his head. The two elementals managed to run away, but there were still two more outside (Mike and Alex). The soldier placed his thumb on the safety pin's pull ring and with a movement of his finger, he removed it, before quickly throwing the grenade at his targets. He then waited for the explosion...

Alex smiled at Ben when he looked at her. She then turned back and focused on the barrier. "Im sorry, I can't turn it into ice but I can make it stronger!" she firmed the water in the barrier and it took a while but the barrier shifted closer and was strengthened. She grinned at her work and then looked back to see Ben walking into the cabin. She caught a glimpse of something in the corner of her eye and then she stopped. She saw the grenade being thrown and everything went quiet. Alex knew she had to do something or they would probably die. She flung half of the barrier at the grenade to cover it and then when it exploded she was flung back. The water barrier collapsed as she hit the ground. All the wind got knocked from her lungs and she gasped for breath. "Mikeal, are you okay?" she half whispered as she blinked her eyes and tried to get up. Alex felt her lower leg was very painful and when she looked down at it she cringed in pain. Her lower leg and foot was bleeding and there was a deep gash just above her ankle. She groaned in pain as she lay there and looked around. She noticed the man and with all her energy she hit him with a wave of energy. Then she smiled as she lay flat on the ground with her wounded leg.

Damien:
I looked was looking at Bullets face until I heard gun shots and I froze. I quickly checked for Bullet to see if she was shot and thank god she wasn't. Better to be safe than sorry. Bullet had sat up and I heard her wince in pain which caused me to make a sad look "Take it easy,Bullet" I said softly while gently grabbing her shoulder and laying her back down. Then I heard people walk into the room which made me stand up in alert to only be greeted by Ben and...Erin. I was gonna asked what happened but Bullet beat me to it. Everyone was getting hurt and it'll only be a matter of time before I get hurt but I don't care as long as Bullet and everyone else is safe. I turned back to Bullets left hip and I looked at Bullet with a pause. I gently put the tweezers in and grabbed the bullet and quickly took it out like ripping off a band-aid. I was glad it wasn't shattered 'cause it would only be more pain for Bullet. I quickly grabbed some more gauze and put it on her hip, layering it then getting the tape that held the gauze. I stood up and placed my hand on Bullets cheek then kissed her cheek before I sat next to her on the bed

Mikeal fell back and rolled onto his side for m the granade, the cabin wall he had made to stop Element fell, he groaned and saw the soldeir, "hey a**hole! Play with this!" he shout and waved his arm from the rubble, to Element, then the soldier. a chunk of rubble, flew up and hit Element, knocking him into the soldier.

Erin groaan as she laid down "get it out, please!" she gasped and looked at Ben "I'll be able to heal slowly after you get it out, but I can't do anything until then..."

Element felw to the ground after being thrown, he was only a few feet away from the soldier, as he stood up he was about a foot taller than the man, Element turned and growled at him as stones formed over his arm and made it into a club

Alex grabbed her leg in pain. She didn't plan on being injured because there were so few able bodied people around and she wanted to help. She let out a small groan of pain and looked around for the nearest cabin to crawl to.

Mikeal got to his knees and looked around, then got to his feet and rubbed his head "Alex, hold on" he said and start running to her, he moved his hand infront of him, and the earth beneath Alex moved up as he got there. Then carefully he placed his arm underneath her legs and the other around her shoulder and lift her up "hold on tight" he said and stomped his foot.the ground moved like a wave under him toward the cabin, he layerd his feet in rock so he wouldn't fall over while it moved, this way was fasted and less bumpy than running, so there was less of a chance Alex would get hurt more

Alex gritted her teeth while Mikeal carried her. "Thank y-you." she mumbled as she took a deep breath and squeezed her eyes tightly shut. She just wanted to get to the cabin and get her leg sorted out.

Bullet clenched her fists, furiously biting her lip, while trying not to groan too loud. This was the first time in her life that she was shot and the pain was awful, but she was going to handle it. When Damien pulled out the bullet, she deeply inhaled and rested her body backwards, as she placed her hand over the gauze. There was still pain but it wasn't as burning as before. ''Thank you,'' Bullet mumbled at the boy, and lifted her hand, slowly stroking his face, before he kissed her cheek. She managed to control her emotions and not to blush, but she felt her heart racing. ''We need to get out of here,'' she said, after her breathing calmed. ''We-'' A loud explosion interrupted her, and Bullet's head instantly jerked towards the window. No matter how weak she was at the moment, the girl straightened up on the bed and looked out. Her eyes widened; Mikeal was helping Alexis, clearly she was hurt, and Element was lying next to one of the uniformed men. The weirdest thing was that the soldier wasn't moving and his eyes were closed. Perhaps he was dead? She couldn't think about him right now, they had to help their friends. Bullet opened the window and peeked her head out, ''Mike! Alex! Over here!''

Ben looked at Erin one last time, before nodding and pulling the sleeves of his shirt up. He placed his hands on the wood, and gently started getting it out of her leg, trying not to cause her too much pain. But then he thought that maybe this way she was feeling more pain than if he got it out quickly, so Ben hesitated for a second and then in the next moment he furiously pulled the wood out and threw it aside. ''Sorry,'' the boy said. He cleaned the wound and grabbed a bandage, wrapping it around her leg. Slowly standing up on his legs, he deeply sighed. A few drops had appeared on his forehead and he wiped them with the back of his hand, before a loud explosion shook the cabin and Ben swayed a little. He didn't even bother wondering what was happening outside, his first thought was: Alex! He rushed out of the cabin and covered his mouth with his arm. There was smoke and rubble everywhere. ''Alex..,'' he muttered, coughing a few times. Before he finally saw her and Mikeal moving really fast. They were on some kind of earth wave. His jaw almost hit the ground. He ran to them and almost bumped in Mikeal, when he went closer and took the girl in his arms. She was as light as a feather. Then he hurried and rushed over to the cabin, placing Alex on the third bed that was in the cabin. God, so many injured people today... He was furious. ''Are you okay? What happened?'' he asked her, holding her face in his hands, examining her for any bruises or wounds.

The soldier all of a sudden felt pushed backwards on the ground by a giant wave, and the hit was so hard that he lost consciousness for a couple of minutes. He thought he was dead, when suddenly he jumped into a sitting position, gasping for air. There were tiny little pieces of rubble in his hair and his face and hands were dirty. But he didn't care about this. His eyes scanned the horizon, search for dead elementals. Unfortunately, they had managed to survive the explosion and were now running away. He growled and stood up on his legs, but before he could even tried to follow them, another thing caught his attention. His eyes widened, as he froze on place. The man knelt down before the monster as a sign of respect, and started speaking: ''Master, we mean you no harm. The Government ordered us to either kill off those elementals or capture them. You're safe,'' he said, and immediately all the speeches about a very powerful creature living on this island made sense. This was It. The man kept his head lowered, hoping that Element would spare his life.
