Eric had been unconscious for a while, and was slowly waking up, feeling too weak to even open his eyes. whatever they had used on him had a bad effect on him. He could only think and listen as voices echoed in his head. At first he had heard Lilly's voice trying to get him to wake up until giving up because it was hopeless. He head her footsteps pacing around the room not knowing what to do. then he heard a door open and a voice of a man he hadn't heard before, saying he got another one. He didn't know what it meant until he felt Kate shaking him, trying to wake him up. That was an improvement to his strength; he could feel again! After hearing Kate's voice, he felt obligated to at least speak. His lips parted ever so slightly as he tried to say her name "K-k-k..." He still couldn't speak, just something to tell her he was okay and alive. He then heard Lilly speaking to Kate.

"It's hopeless. He's out cold" Lilly said to Kate after she was thrown in. Her hands were tied together and attached to the wall, only close enough to reach Eric's body. Lilly had felt a bruise on her cheek and a scab on her neck from where the knife had been, and saw a bruise on kate's forehead. "I don't know why we're here, they haven't done anything yet, all I know is that I'm tired and I can't use my powers. I've thought of escaping but from what I see, there is no way of doing so, at the moment. I don't even know where we are! Some government facility or something"

(@tweets, it's okay. i just thought the others were outside the cabins while Damien, Bullet and Alex were inside one of the cabins. but it's okay, it doesn't really matter to me where they are so don't edit it

Bullet awkwardly giggled. Did he really just say that? She slightly blushed and her big brown eyes finally met his. Bullet leaned in and wrapped her arms around him, getting on her toes, since Damien was taller than her. This hug seemed to last longer than she expected, so when she pulled away, she felt a wave of embarrassment. ''They were outside when I entered the cabin,'' she said, and taking his hand, she pulled him down the stairs, making him walk with her. When she walked out of the cabin, her eyes widened. Half of the soldiers were gone, but the other half that remained were fighting against Mike, Ben and Alex and they weren't going to withstand any longer. But wait...Where was Erin? She shrugged this thought away and concentrated on the battle. Bullet's anger started burning her from the inside, and her fists clenched. In this exact moment, she waved her hands at one of the men, and a fireball instantly shot towards him. She thought that she had finished with him, until she saw that the fire didn't affect him at all. The man had hidden himself behind something like a shield, which he was carrying with him. Once the ball touched the glowing metal surface, the attack ricocheted and was now flying towards her and Damien. She quickly pulled the boy by the sleeve, managing to duck with him in time. Her body was shaking. These men had special weapons for fighting elementals. How were they going to beat them? ''Damien, are you hurt?'' she then turned to him and asked, checking him for any burns.

Ben was still lying on the ground, unable to move even an inch, when all of a sudden Alex broke something in one of the men's heads, as she ran away. Good girl, he thought, gasping a few times for breath. He couldn't feel his legs nor his arms. The electricity that had rushed through his body wasn't deadly, but it was sure as hell helpful. ''What do you want from us?'' he muttered. The man put his stick-like weapon back on his belt and stared at Ben. ''If I tell you, I'd have to kill you,'' he said, and the water elemental snorted. ''You're going to kill us anyway,'' he responded. ''Hm,'' said the soldier, ''you're right.'' Then Ben felt being dragged up on his legs, which were so weak that he thought he was going to collapse back on the ground, but luckily he regained his balance. Then all of a sudden a fireball appeared out of nowhere, and this made Ben turn around. He noticed that Bullet and Damien had left the cabin and were now outside. The man that had got him on his feet was now distracted, which gave Ben the best opportunity. With all his remaining strength, the boy grabbed the man's head and quickly lifted up his leg, kicking him in the face with his knee. The man growled from pain and lost control over himself for a second. ''Go! Run!'' he yelled at the others, and started to run away from the men. He saw Alex in the distance and took her hand, pulling her along with him.

Meanwhile, Kate was above Eric, shaking him and begging him to wake up, fearing that the men maight have done something terrible to him. Then when suddenly the boy spoke, Kate's eyes widened in hope. ''Eric! Thank God, you're alive.'' She leaned in and hugged him. It probably seemed weird to the men, but she didn't really care. They were going to escape for sure. Another familiar voice echoed behind her, and the girl turned around to see Lilly. Her hands were tied and attached to the wall. Kate swallowed hard. They were going to keep them here as prisoners for God knows what reasons...''No, no, there has to be something we can do to escape,'' Kate spoke, after the two men had left the room. She sighed and sat on the ground next to Eric, gently stroking his hair. ''What did they do to him?'' she asked, and watched him with worry in her eyes. Kate didn't want to see him hurt. He had saved her so many times until now, she didn't want to lose him. But she was instantly snapped out of her thoughts, when she heard the sounds of firing shots coming from outside. Her eyes widened, and she could hear the faint voices of the men from the other room. ''The other elementals have probably escaped. Well, if they can't catch them alive, then they'll catch them dead. So, either way we win,'' he said and the other man laughed. Kate's heart jumped. Her friends were in danger.

Damien:
I hugged Bullet back tightly as if I wasn't going to hold her ever again. When she pulled back I wanted to pull her back in a hug but saw the men outside. All the sudden Bullet through fireball at them and I smirked but then I saw them block it and it was headed straight towards us 'D*mn it' I thought. Bullet pulled me down to dodge it and I was so closed to getting burned. I coughed a few times then I looked at Bullet,checking if she was okay just like she was checking me "I'm totally fine, you?" I asked, scanning her body quickly for anything. I don't think we could defeat these guys but we're going to have to try. I held Bullets hand and stood up while pulling her up by my side. I looked across from us and it was Ben "Come on" and started running whole pulling Bullet gently

Alex grasped Ben's hand tightly as they ran from the man. She was glad that he didn't get pulled away to wherever the men were taking them. She looked him over quickly as they escaped and was glad he didn't look to injured. "You okay Ben?" she asked him quickly as they ran because he didn't look fully recovered from the electric shock the taser device that had forced him onto the ground. She didn't even know where they were going but she was happy that the men seemed to be lessening. She thought back at the elemental monster they had faced earlier. Why would he give up that easily? Surely he would be after them again? What would happen if they had to face the monster and the strange men? Alex shook these thoughts off for later while she was running for fear that she might trip and continued to run alongside Ben.

Lilly knelt down next to Eric , which was the farthest the rope let her go. She looked at kate, hearing the voices outside and shuddered. "I hope everyone gets out of this alive, I really do, but I also don't want them here. I've heard faint screams coming from a few rooms over. I don't know who's but I'm guessing they are going to do something bad with us. maybe turn us into something like that monster we had just fought..." She sighed and looked at Eric. He was breathing heavy now and all of a sudden his eyes opened, which made her jump. "Eric!"

When they were talking together, he got worried. he wanted to make sure they would be okay if they took either of them away. He took a lot of his strength to open his eyes but he did it and once he did that, artificial light flooded into his eyes, making him gasp. He then saw Kate and Lilly hovering over him. Opening his eyes seemed to hep him regain strength, like he was awake again. "Kate... Where... where are we?" He asked in a quiet voice, and it sounded rather raspy. He swallowed as his heart beat faster. "We have to get out of here" he said and tried to sit up, but feel back down again. "maybe later" Just then a guard came in and grabbed kate. He tied another rope tight around her hands and attached her to the wall, and unable to reach Eric. Another guard came in and tied Eric's wrists behind his back and attached him to the wall as well. After the guard was done tying up kate, he untied Lilly's wall rope and grabbed her struggling body, throwing her over his shoulder, saying "You're coming with me"

''Yeah, don't worry,'' Bullet responded to Damien's question and a slight smile appeared at the corners of her lips. As always, once she looked at him, she got lost in his eyes, and few minutes had to pass before she realized that the others were starting to run. Bullet snapped back into reality and looked around. But then in the next moment, Damien quickly grabbed her hand and started running, as she followed him. They were always running. Ever since she stepped on this island, they hadn't stopped running from things that wanted to kill them. Where was it going to stop? She saw that Ben and Alex were running in front of them, so she hoped that they didn't get separate again. They were stronger together, even though they weren't clearly strong enough to defeat these soldiers. And then all of a sudden a gunshot whooshed in the air, somewhere near them. Bullet felt an agonizing and burning pain in her hip, and letting go of Damien's hand, she fell to the ground. Her top quickly became red, and Bullet tried her best not to cry or wince, while she was pressing her hands to the wound, not letting her blood stream. A few tears formed in her eyes and she looked at the boy. ''Go,'' she told him, ''I can't even walk,'' she added, and her voice was shaky. The pain was too strong. Good thing the bullet had struck her in the left hip, and there weren't really important organs there, so she could survive. But right now she couldn't walk nor run, she was just going to slow them down. The best thing they could do was to leave her.

Ben was running as fast as he could. As fast as his stamina was letting him. He still hadn't fully recovered from the electric shock, but somehow standing so close to Alex was making him stronger. Was it because both of them were water elementals? Nobody knew. He was dragged back into reality when she asked him a question. He chuckled, ''I am now, since you're here with me,'' he said and pushed his flirty smile in action, but somehow he knew that it won't have effect on Alex. She didn't seem like the other girls that were trying to seduce him. Ben shrugged this thought away and focused on the running, right before a loud shooting sound echoed in the air behind them. He hit the ''brakes'', and still holding Alexis' hand, he turned around. His eyes immediately widened when he saw Bullet, lying on the ground, her left side covered in blood. ''Bullet!'' he shouted, and raised his hand, sending a medium-sized water wave at the soldiers that were running towards them, since his powers still weren't at their maximum. This could get them some time.

When Eric opened his eyes, Kate almost screamed from happiness. She stroked his face and smiled at him. Then she processed that he had asked her something. She looked around. ''We're at the--'' Kate was interrupted by the two men that flew inside the room, and grabbed her by the hands, attaching her to the wall so she could stay away from Eric. ''Let go of me, you filthy animal!'' she screamed at one of them, and even managed to kick him in the face. A few drops of blood fell down from the soldier's nose, and when he noticed that, burning anger appeared inside his eyes. He clenched his fist, and the next thing Kate knew was that he smacked her across the face. She groaned from the pain and managed to hide the tears in her eyes. Then the other guy tied Eric's wrists behind his back and also attached him to the wall. She couldn't look at him, if she did that she was going to start crying. Right now the only thing that was keeping her from falling apart was her rage. These men were going to get what they deserved sooner or later. And then a few seconds later, with the corner of her eye, she saw the man that tied Eric grabbing Lilly and throwing her over his shoulder. Kate started twisting and struggling against the ropes. ''No! Leave her alone!'' she yelled, and the cabin or whatever they were in started shaking, and a big crack opened in the center of the room. Kate looked really pissed right now. The man on the other hand looked scared. He moved his gaze to his partner, ''This one's a wild one,'' he said and chuckled, ''Give her something to relax,'' he said and disappeared from sight. The other one that remained inside the room just grinned evilly, and started approaching her.

Damien:
I was running close behind Ben and Alex and I realized I needed to slow my breathing down. I was actually thinking we would survive which made a small smile appear on my lips but just as fast as the smile came it went away. A loud sound echoed in the air. It was a bullet. I stopped dead in my tracks and I held Bullets hand so tight I thought I was gonna break her wrist. She let go of my hand and fell to the ground. My back was still faced towards her and I didn't want to turn around and see what happened to her. I finally got the courage to face her and I did. She was on the ground and I scanned her body, finding the bullet in her left hip "Bullet..." I whispered as I kneeled down next to her while gently placed my hand on her left hip. Why did this happen to her? Why not me? All the things happening to her should've happened to me. Bullets blood was on my hands and I looked around glaring in every direction. When she told me to go I gave her a cold look "You're freaking crazy if you think I'm gonna leave you here to be captured by these b*astards" I told her, trying to control my anger that was not towards Bullet but to the soldiers "Last time I wasn't there by your side, a man hit you." I reminded her "Never again will that happen" I mumbled the last part. I ripped off a large piece on my shirt and put it on Bullets hip, quickly putting pressure on it. I grabbed Bullets hand placed it on the fabric "Put pressure on that" I said softly then looked in her eyes "I'm gonna carry you." I told her quickly before she could object. I wrapped my arms around her waist and and the other arm under her legs. I stood up with her close to my chest but being very gently with her hip. I held her in my arms like she was gonna break and all I could feel was guilt. I stood up straight and looked at Ben and Alex "Come on let's keep going" I said wanting to get out of here as soon as possible

Lilly was screaming as they took her out of the room, that was until they placed duct tape on her mouth to lessen the noise. She was still screaming a muffled scream though. They took her to a room close to the cell she was in and threw her onto the ground once more. When she stood up, though, she noticed she was on a stage in a huge theater of people, probably there to see her powers or something. They had turned off the lights to see what she'd do, but since she now had a little bit of dark in her, she could stand being in the dark again. She didn't do anything. They seemed unimpressed. They let a small light above her on and Lilly looked up, trying not to use her powers for their amusement or for any other purpose. She was admittedly stubborn, and she wouldn't let that trait fail her now. A voice echoed through the theater. "Lilly Rivers. We apologize for making your stay on the island almost unbearable and we have decided to take you from that environment. Unfortunately, we cannot bring you back to your old life, for that is way too dangerous, but will offer you a livable life here if you just follow our orders. We'd like to see what you can do and are ever so curious to see it in action, but we will not force you to do anything. Although, if you do not do what we want you to in at least one way or another we will put you back on the island to die." Hearing this, Lilly simply stood there defiantly, not trusting them either way. She could not speak because of the duct tape and even if she didn't have the duct tape on her mouth she wouldn't speak. She just stared at them with hate and would not give in. Of course they would force her to do what they wanted, they were power-driven tyrants who just kept her alive for an experiment. Probably everything they said was a lie. The guard who had thrown her to he stage walked up to her and ripped the tape from her mouth, which resulted in a short scream from her as the tape ripped off some of the hairs from her face. "Do you have anything to say about this?" But then Lilly thought for a moment. Her powers seemed stronger here than in the cell, like they had insulated her powers in there. She looked at the light and decided to give them a little bit of what they wanted. The stage was surrounded with glass, letting them see each other but not make contact. They may have not considered that a strong enough heat could melt glass, or the glass could at least focus on one area and burn whatever was on the other side. Have they ever seen wood burning art with a magnifying glass? She focused the light to bend all to the man who was speaking until she burned a hole in his hand, causing him to drop the microphone. The audience of men gasped as she smiled evilly. "All I have to say is bad security on you part, didn't you know I could do that?"

When they tied him against the wall, Eric was forced to kneel upright because the rope was too short for him to lie down. It was the only reason why he was upright, otherwise he would have still been lying down on the floor. He watched Lilly get take away kicking and screaming until the closed the door. He watched The other guard approach Kate with an evil smile on his face as The cell shook and cracked. He pulled out a long needle filled with something to "calm her down" and he gasped "Kate!" He said in panic, maybe trying to tell her to stop making the earth shake if she didn't want to pass out or maybe even die. Even though he warned her, and even if she tried to stop the quake, he was too late because he saw the man puncture the main vein in her neck with the needle and inject the liquid.

Alex smiled at what Ben said. She was about to respond when there was a loud noise. She turned around while still holding Ben's hand and watched in shock as she saw Bullet had been shot. She was about to help when Ben shot a wave of water at the soldiers. "Should we help carry Bullet?" she asked Ben. She frowned and looked at Bullet, she didn't seem to be injured that badly since she was still alive but she looked in a huge amount of pain. She turned to Damien "We need to buy some time so that bullet can be healed. Any idea where would be safe?"
