Flicking her gaze around the empty room, Bullet's heart started racing. Where was Kate? She was definitely kidnapped. No, this wasn't happening. It was Bullet's fault. If she hadn't left, the men wouldn't have captured her friend. She cursed under her breath and then all of a sudden she felt a presence behind her, and jumped. When she turned around she saw it was Damien, and a loud sigh escaped her mouth. Then he caught her chin and started examining her face. ''I'm fine, don't worry,'' she managed to mumble, not able to look into his eyes. She felt like whenever she was staring at them, she was getting lost and this weird feeling inside her stomach was rising. Now wasn't the time for that. Actually was there going to be time for that at all? Plus, he probably thought of her as just a friend. Bullet smiled at him, still not looking in his eyes, and slightly nodded. ''Yes,'' she said, ''but how are we going to find them? And this is definitely a trap,'' she stated the obvious and felt stupid. Then when he told her that she was never going to leave his side again, Bullet's sides slightly flushed red but she was able to hide it. She got back into reality and took his hand. ''Come on, let's get out of here.''
Ben was ready to fight, tornado of water circling in his hands, when all of a sudden half of the uniformed men started leaving. What was that? They were just leaving. They just got there and now they were gone. It was like they had got what they wanted. But didn't they want them dead? This all was so confusing, that at first Ben couldn't hear Alexis' voice behind him, but then suddenly he processed it and turned around. His eyes were shining from happiness. ''Alex! Thank, God!'' he nearly screamed, and was surprised when she hugged him, but then a few seconds later he also wrapped his arms around her so tightly, that he thought he could hurt her. Burying his head in her hair, Ben inhaled deeply. Weird, huh? He felt like they had an invisible connection and even though they hadn't known each other for a long time, he felt like he should protect her with his life. And yet he wasn't beside her when she entered that cabin... The boy finally pulled away and stared at her, his gaze moving on her face, examining her for any wounds or bruises. ''Are you okay? I'm sorry I didn't follow you inside..,'' he apologized, and felt guilty. What if something had happened to her? Then suddenly he felt something cold like a stick pressing against his back, and then in the next moment a wave of energy ran through his body and he fell on the ground. He was still counscious but his body was really weak. He managed to open his eyes and gasp a few times, before looking at his attacker. It was one of the uniformed men, and it was holding an electroshock weapon. ''You ba*tard..,'' Ben mumbled at the stranger, which earned him a punch in the face. ''Nothing personal, really, we just think that it'd be fair if we fight without any special powers,'' the man responded to Ben's comment, and the boy looked at him sarcastically and a low giggle came out of his mouth. ''Look who's talking,'' he said and pointed at the electroshock. Right now he couldn't see Alex, but he was hoping that she'd understand that he was distracting the man so she could run away. Come on Alex, run, he thought and balled his fingers into fists. But in that moment a few more guys surrounded them, and they were holding such weapons too.

Gasping, Kate slowly opened her eyes and blinked a few times, before getting used to the sunlight. It was already a day, and she couldn't remember anything from the past two or three hours. She gasped again and felt an awful headache in the back of her head. Then when she slowly started returning into reality she saw that her hands were tied with rope, and noticed that she was swung over someone's shoulder, being carried away. It would actually be pleasant if the guy that was carrying her away wasn't a psycho. ''Let go of me!'' she regained her strength, and immediately started yelling, kicking in twisting. But the man's grip was too strong for her. Da*n it. Even though she was conscious now, she was too weak to use her powers for anything. Right now she wouldn't be able to even lift a rock or some dirt. She was drained. ''I'll claw your face off if you don't let me go,'' she warned him, and started kicking again, but sadly nothing happened. She could only see the stranger's back and how he was walking. Luckily, he was alone. But wait, weren't there two of them? The man didn't say anything for the next 10 minutes, until they finally appraoched something or more like someone, and the stranger spoke: ''I got one,'' he said, and in the next moment threw Kate on the ground. ''Ow!'' She straightened to a sitting position, and all of a sudden something caught her attention. A figure lying on the ground, probably unconscious. And then her eyes widened, feeling shivers. ''Eric!'' she screeched, crawling to him and starting to shake him, hoping he'd wake up.
