I skipped up to the mission board with a smile, humming.

Niro was wide eyed, walked over to Harken, first he hesitated to take his hand out, but then put his hand on his back "That must be your father." He decided to tell, he gulped "Hey, listen, my dragon also left me. But-"he smiled "I can tell she watches over me still though." He encouraged.

Harken whipped around with a snarl, and stood up. He towered over Niro menacingly. "He. Was. Not. My. Father." Harken spit out, subconsciously wondering why Niro was awake. Dreary hopped off Niro's bony, but admittedly, warm shoulder and onto Harken's.

Niro kept a straight face, grabbing Harken's arm "Then who?" He asked, he gave Daemon a serious look "You hide in the shadows, being afraid. All you needed was a friend " he snorted, then waited for a response.

Harken glared at Niro. "I don't need anybody. Not you, or Dreary, or Ixiar. What is it with people like you? Why do you always think that a person can't be happy without a 'friend'?" Harken spat out bitterly. "Well what happens when that friend of yours goes away, hmmm? What then?" Harken spat out, his cold black eye full of fury and pent-up anger and sorrow.

Niro kept a straight face "You find them again one day." He smiled gripping on Harken's hand. "I can be your friend." He smiled.

Harken gave a mocking, sarcastic smile. "Ha. The last time I had a friend, he wound up dead," he said, glancing at Ixiar's portrait. "I killed him." He murmured, mostly to himself.

Jay saw Elina, who was walking up to the Request Board. There she was! Finally! Jay thought. Now they could tell Elina about the mission. She glanced disdainfully at Alix, and said, "I have to go, nice meeting you," even though it was clearly sarcastic. Jay left the bar and walked up to Elina. "Hey," she said.

"Then I won't die." He protested. "Besides, I can protect you from the locals." He smiled.

Elina, noticing Jay, smiles. "How's it goin' Jay?" she says to the other, Cynder flying next to her like he was lost, even though he wasn't.

(Okay ANYONE open from Grimore Heart for Hatsumi? I have NOTHING to do... BTW natsunii is my little sister XD)
