Pondering on the matter for a brief moment, Clara replied carefully, "Public humiliation is acceptable for people that deserve it - and I mean genuinely deserve it. All that nonsense about 'dirty blood' is utter rubbish, and belittling anybody for something that they can't help is just disgusting." Stopping herself before she could get all political about blood status, she ate at another bean - this time, a cinnamon one. Grimacing at the sharp taste, she gazed at Christian as he looked out the window again. She guess that he was thinking about the oncoming year, and the workload that was going to come with it. Brushing it aside, Clara absently scuffed her neon-green shoes lightly over the floor, a habit she'd had for as long as she could remember. Still paying attention to him, Clara returned his smile with a sly smirk. "Nobody ever suspects the Hufflepuff. Even the Sorting House didn't suspect I'd be such a hurricane to my house - it was going to put me in Slytherin, you know. Thought I was ambitious (which certainly isn't true, I'm ridiculously lazy), and it thought I was very determined to get my way." She nodded in a matter-of-fact sort of way, "I used to be a good little child, obeying every rule in the book - even enforcing those rules -" she shuddered, "But I wouldn't say I'm bad. I'm just a troublesome little prick. The teachers can't wait to get rid of me, 'cept for the Care of Magical Creatures professor." At this point, she raised her chin in false pride, sitting up straight with a very slight smirk tugging at her lips. "It's one of the few subjects I'm actually fabulous at. Plus, it's the main one you need to be a Dragon Tamer, and this year we get first-hand experience with dragon training. Care of Magical Creatures gets a thousand times more interesting at NEWT level, honestly."

She smiled at them, motioning for the girl to sit next to her. She knew of Jaxson's friendship with Christian, it was an odd one. Then again, Slytherin's didn't seem to have much trouble with people from other houses, so long as they were purebloods.She didn't care too much about the houses, though. She bit down on the Blood Pop, chewing it, leaving a bite out of the round lolly. She raised an eyebrow at him, "It... shows your thoughts?" She gave a frown, eyeing the device nervously, "I'm sure it works wonderfully but, you really don't want to see my thoughts, I bet." She watched Corey's thoughts with a small smile, "Your summers seem great. Both of them." 'Better than mine, at any rate,' she thought. She sat quietly for a moment, thinking. If she could just keep her mind off of this summer then, perhaps it wouldn't be so bad? She looked over at Jaxson, "Well, perhaps I could try it." Yeah, she could keep her mind off it, right?

Nergui scoffed, propping his head up with a hand, finally quieting down from not wanting to be kicked in the shin- or if by the look Lola had- somewhere a little higher. She always took a little too much offense to him playing rough with others. he did enjoy it, and he was somewhat miffed one of the few friends he had- and perhaps his only best friend- did not share his love of playful teasing.

Perhaps that was too light a phrase.

Lola managed to take her eyes off her friend for a second- hoping he wouldn't open his mouth again. He was tough to have around people, and she had to stop some near fights before. She was half afraid there was going to be a comment on the girl's slight blush, but thankfully Nergui's eyes drifted to her owl on the luggage bunk. "Well, at least it's nice to meet me," She said, giving Paul a slight smile, and gaining the quick attention of Nergui.

"Shouldn't you be feeding your owl soon?" He interrupted, flipping his hair and shifting so he was nearly lying on the seat. "It starts to sound like a horse when it gets hungry."

Paul turned her sharp eyes back to Nergui as he spoke about her owl, "Shows what little you know about owls." She said in a low voice, looking him over, "he hunts for himself at night." She left it at that and opened Rauf's cage. Rauf fluttered out and made his way to rest on Paul's shoulder. She stroked his breast feathers, humming to the still drowzy animal. When she had bought Rauf she had been tempted to purchase one of every animal, but she had left simply with Rauf and a little snake that now rested in her pocket named Haaz. The woman who ran the shop had wanred that Haaz would grow to be very large and might develope some strange powers, but Paul had decided she would worry about that when he began to grow. At the moment he was about the size of a little garden snake, and he would not come out of his hiding spot until he felt it was safe. Paul looked out the window. She hoped they arrived soon. She was very hungry and looking forward to the feast. She wanted more than just candy, even though everything on the trolly looked very appealing. Raf was now fully awake and taking in the others around him, twisting his head this way and that, listening and observing quietly

Personality: Dimitri is a very complicated person. Mainly because he doesn't know yet who he is. On the outside, he appears to be an extremely charismatic young man. Confident in everything he does and says. And in his mind, he believes he knows exactly who he is. He believes that he's this perfect guy, smart, friendly, athletic, flirty...but he doesn't know what he wants to do in life. He doesn't know what he wants to accomplish or what he wants to do as a career. Until he figures himself out, he will always be lost within himself, and this idea of a person that he thinks he is. He can seem to be extremely uncaring. He doesn't get phased by most people's problems and to be honest, most he doesn't really seem to be bothered about. If you tell him that you lost someone close to you, he'll say he's sorry, as customary, but he won't really say anything else beyond that. Sometimes, it's because he just doesn't care. Then there's the fact that he knows pain himself, maybe not as bad as the one he's talking to, but he knows what to say and when to hold his tongue. He respects people's privacy. If they don't want to talk about something, then he'll drop it, and will refrain talking about it later. Dimitri is your typical dark, sexy and mysterious stranger. The kind that will stand in the corner with a knowing smirk, sipping cups of vodka. He has an air of mystery around him, he never displays any kind of emotion unless it is extreme, but even then it will only be a small smile or a frown. He's very good at hiding what he's feeling.

History: Dimitri always knew that there was something hidden about the world that he was living in. An extra layer that he had yet to peel off, something that his parents always kept hidden. He knew that the world was more than it seemed, and he was right, but he didn't know at first. His sibling, a young girl, a year older than him, was always more important than him. She was always almost worshiped in his family, given extra things, more freedom. He was ignored, not abused but neglected. But that gave him more time to himself, and he spent that time researching. They would never tell him what was really going on. After ten years of research, his sister 16 and gone every year until Summer, he finally knew what his sister was. She was a Witch. Dimitri was going to confront his parents about this when he was confronted by men clad in black, with swords and guns and a killer attitude. They told him that his sister was using him, that she didn't care about him and twisted his parent's minds into thinking him of a lesser being. And Dimitri believed them. He murdered his sister, letting out ten years of frustration and anger, and the men took him under their wing. He became a Witcher, a man dedicated to hunting down wizards. After the wizarding war, they began to pick out prey, but slowly Dimitri realized that what they were doing was wrong, they were just people. So he left the Witchers and is set on aiding the Wizards in their war against them.

"Should have guessed from the Californian accent," he said with a wide grin. "Same here, Los Angeles," he pulled out a purple skittle and popped it in his mouth. He grinned when she said that she's had skittles before and he nodded. "Well of course you have, I mean, it's motto isn't taste the rainbow for nothing," he popped another skittle in his mouth. "Though I'm sure the wizards have developed a candy that blows skittles away...oh well. A little piece of home." He settled back in his chair and cocked his head at what she had said about her sister. "What is it called when a muggle is born into a wizarding family? A shrub? Squb? Squib. That's it." He scratched the back of his neck as he stretched out, relaxing. "I was born to a muggle family...it was really surprising when we got that freaking letter, I was like, what?" He laughed pulled a mountain dew from his bag and uncapped it, gulping down the bubbly, light green fluid and he shivered. "Gross. Warm," he wiped a drop from his lip with his sleeve and placed the can between his knees which he swayed back and forth, his arms folding behind his head.
