(When we have more characters, not sure how many yet. Preferably until we have a couple more guys and the genders are evened out)

Name: Clara Reynolds.
Gender: Female.
Age: Seventeen.
Year: Seven.
House: Hufflepuff.
Wand: 9 inch Dragon Heartstring & Aspen wood; flexible.
Patronus: Hummingbird.
Blood Status: Half-blood.
Origin: Newcastle.

Parents: Amelia & Christopher Reynolds.
Siblings: N/A.
Crush: N/A; usually too caught up in other things in life to care for such things.
Boyfriend/Girlfriend: N/A.

Pet: A rather stubborn little barn owl called Talon, her pet has remained by her shoulder since Clara first attended Hogwarts. Unfortunately though, the owl injured her left wing after a 'fight' in the owlery, leaving her with a rather nasty scar. Apart from that, however, she is very proud and her attitude makes up for her small size.

Traits: Loyal; patient; prideful; curious; artistic; careless; bouncy; forward; honest; relaxed; forgetful; confident; lazy.
Fears: Deep water/drowning; insects; small/enclosed spaces; sharks; caves; Dementors; burglars.
Dreams: Traveling the world; leaving her parents; living a life with all the freedom she wants; to get a painting of hers in a famous art gallery.
Personality:
Clara is seemingly a whole jumble of things. Mainly, she comes across as very forward but cheerful girl, with a smile as bright as her hair. She's usually quite open about herself, and isn't hesitant to talk to others. At the same time, however, she certainly isn't a gossip, though sometimes her curiosity gets the better of her. She can be a little nosy at times, but she wouldn't breathe a word if you asked her not to. In this sense, she stays true to her word: she won't let you down if she can manage it. It should be noted, however, that Clara's bravery only goes to a certain extent - she can easily chicken out of things, especially if she's not particularly comfortable with the situation at hand. In the end, though, she can set aside her inner cowardice if she cares enough for those at risk.
While she seems to be fairly bubbly, Clara has a little more depth to her. Surprisingly, she's a lot more patient that she appears. She isn't easily annoyed or angered, simply as she brushes aside most negativity and focuses on the better things in life. In this way, she is an optimist: she is one of those go-with-the-flow kind of people, bouncing off insults carelessly. Clara's definitely difficult to hurt or insult, but if you really want to infuriate her, betrayal is extremely likely to break her heart.
Despite her cheerful air, she can suffer from self doubt. While she appears to be confident, Clara is actually just trying to hide the fact that she's extremely self-conscious about herself. She believes that if she can manage to put on a smile, then she can do anything. In truth, she's told herself that patience is a virtue, and that she'll eventually be rewarded. In this way, she can be extremely doubtful of herself and her abilities, so she often secretly puts herself down.
Clara isn't naturally smart; she has to work for her grades. The problem is, she's ridiculously lazy and tends to procrastinate when it comes to school work, or anything else that she lacks interest in. She has the potential to do well, but if she isn't motivated to participate in the class for whatever reason, she usually ends up daydreaming absently. She can't seem to sit still, a joke with her classmates referring to her patronus, the hummingbird, which also can't keep still.
She can be a little two-faced, in a way. She acts different ways around different people. Around her friends and other people in school, even some of the teachers, she's very outgoing and honest - but around her parents and the people at home, she has to be a little more cautious about what she says and how she says it. When people realize her 'double life' as the rock art chick and the simple small-town girl, they can't seem to comprehend that they're actually the same person. She's a good actor in this sense, but she wouldn't dare get up in front of a crowd for anything. She hates public speaking of any extent, and has secretly always admired and even envied the Gryffindors for their words of encouragement and dramatic speeches.
While she's good enough at art, Clara lacks other talents. She can paint quite well, though she can draws things 'out of the blue' and tends to go crazy with colours. She's absolutely useless when it comes to sports of any kind, usually tripping over her own two feet. As a result, she was always horrendous at Quidditch, though she still goes to the matches to support the Hufflepuff house.

Appearance: Being a metamorphmagus has it's perks, but it also has its downfalls. While Clara likes to change her appearance, she seems to have recently adopted a punk rocker sort of style. Her hair is usually messily cut into a startling crimson tumble, flicking across her forehead. With rather thin, dark eyebrows, she likes to keep her eyes dark and framed with thin lashes. Clara's eyes are rather dark brown, with hints of hazel flecks near the pupil. Keeping the rest of her facial features quite sharp, she has defined cheekbones and a rather pointed jaw, with a sharp, long nose. Her ears are small and, like the rest of her face, sharp - she has her ears pierced only once in each lobe, much to the surprise of her classmates who expect her to go all-out with her appearance. With rather full, pink lips, she has a very warm grin that stretches rather broadly across her thin face. Small dimples sometimes form on her cheeks if she smiles for long enough, too.
While fairly slim, Clara doesn't feel confident enough to wear the usual Muggle fashions these days, so she tends to stick with a baggy band t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. Her uniform is kept untidy, much to the teachers' protests; she keeps her shirt untucked and wears her skirt shorter than the proper 'knee length', though she keeps it within reason. Her Hufflepuff tie is always done up long but loose around her neck, and the top button of her shirt is usually undone.
However, since her parents are disapproving of Clara 'abusing her talent', she has to keep her appearance rather dull and plain when she's at home over the summer. As a result, the neighbors all know her to have chestnut brown hair falling to her shoulders, usually pushing away in a loose plait. She also changes her eyes to a basic, block brown colour, and rounds her face a little to make her look less hawk-like. Over the summer, Clara tends to keep her clothes very simple too, with a pair of jeans and a hoodie, teamed up with her only pair of neon green converse (which her mother seriously disapproves of).

History: Born to a stiff Muggle mother and a serious wizard left Clara in a bit of a mess. Growing up in Newcastle wasn't all that bad, but her parents were very careful to keep her magical abilities at bay for as long as possible - even her father, who just wanted to live a 'normal' life with her wife and kid. Clara doesn't blame her dad, but she does wish he'd at least side with her on the fact that she's magical whether they accept it or not. Her mother has always been very stuck-up and holds strong prejudices, so it's no surprise that Clara ended up being the opposite.
Striving to be as rebellious as possible, Clara tried to do everything that her mother hated - she wore bright, neon colours and changed her hair to a deep red. But most importantly, she took up art as a hobby, one which her mother thought was utterly useless. With no encouragement from either of her parents, she ended up locking herself away in her room a lot. If she wasn't hiding in her room, then she was out of the house, putting as much distance between herself and her mother as possible.
So, of course, when her letter to Hogwarts came, she told her parents that she'd be going. Her dad, who was sick of his wife's distaste towards magic, took his only child to London himself. On the boat trip across the Black Lake, Clara was convinced that she was going to fall into its icy depths - as a result, she developed quite a fear of the lake. She was sorted into Hufflepuff, like her dad. When she returned home that summer, her parents got divorced and Clara ended up living with her dad in a small village outside London. Still, she was forced to visit her mother for at least a month in the summer, much to her horror. Stubbornly, she went and stayed with her snappy mother in Newcastle - though, needless to say, their relationship remained rocky.
By the time she turned fourteen, Clara had developed a strong interest in Muggle rock bands, which absolutely infuriated her mother, to her delight. She continued to take on this interest and ended up going to a variety of concerts and music festivals, though she had always been a useless singer and musically challenged. She drew inspiration for her own appearance from a variety of punk bands, and claimed that they were her escape from the pressures of everything else.
As time went on, Clara grew increasingly distant from her mother and became closer to her father. He was a decent man, working as a museum tour guide in London - but he was honest and true to himself, though he was a bit of a push-over. He became more encouraging towards her own interests, since his ex-wife wasn't there to boss him around anymore. Her dad even helped her out a lot with her schoolwork, while she was at Hogwarts and when she was home - her father was particularly good at Charms, a subject that she had failed miserably with since the first class. Clara felt slightly guilty about sharing so few interests with her dad, so she tried to improve in Charms and ended up keeping it on for OWL and NEWT level because she gradually got considerably better with the magic involved. Unlike her dad, she was better at the more 'practical' subjects, like Defense Against the Dark Arts. Still, Clara was never particularly fantastic at any of her subjects - even the ones she enjoyed, she wasn't brilliant at them.
Despite finally being in her last year at Hogwarts, Clara has little insight into what she actually wants to do in future. She chose Defense Against the Dark Arts, Charms and Care of Magical Creatures as her main subjects, so she told the teachers that she wanted to become a dragon tamer - which she actually wouldn't mind doing, so she's actually considering it as a career.

(Accepted. I'm going to do that as well XD and there will be teachers, but I'll make the classes pretty brief, if you want to control a teacher or something you're welcome to do so)
