- Christian looked up from his staring at the floor when he heard the piercing whistle of the train echo through the stations. Parents, panicking a little realizing their babies were about to get going, began to flock up towards the track, waving frantically up at the little heads poking out the window, most were first years, saying goodbye to their parents for the first time before setting off. First years always got dibs on window seats, at least up towards the front. He had to get up onto the train. He glanced over the Hufflepuff boy beside him, John. He didn't want his fellow classmate to miss the train, but he didn't want to be necessarily nice either. "Come on, Josh," he said, purposefully messing up the boy's name. "You're going to miss the train," he jogged away, the dufflebag that was swung over his shoulder bounced up and down as he stepped up onto the train, his dark hair falling over his brown eyes as he looked for a compartment to sit in. Most were taken. At least up towards front, so he made his way to the back, purposefully passing by Connor who sat by himself, and Teddy and Jax seemed to be fine sitting in full compartments. He was not took keen on sitting with them anyways. So he snagged the compartment that was closest to the back, away from the chatting students, and he rested his head back, closing his eyes.

- "France?" He asked, looking back over at her. He wondered if her relatives over in France were part Veela too...a part of him wanted to meet her entire family, but the other was hesitant. She wasn't part Veela for nothing, someone in her family must be a real Veela, and from how Victoire makes him feel...he would be completely dazzled by her family, and would do something absolutely foolish. He smiled and chuckled. "Louis seems to be fond of everyone, I'm not surprised he liked him." He then heard Rae and he snapped his head over. "No, stay. We haven't seen you all summer, trust me, we don't want you to go," for extra measure, he reached over the compartment to grasp her hand, and the blue haired boy gave it a reassuring squeeze while flashing her a charming smile . "I swear." He released her hand and at the mention of the fire, his eyes widened for a moment before he burst out laughing. "It would be very realistic if you two started a genocide by setting someone's house on fire. I"m sure muggles aren't the only species that are getting sick of us accidentally committing arson. But you're right," he frowned, going into serious mode as he thought back to everything he's heard. "The murders are getting pretty frequent, and you're right, there really isn't a connection, just random people...what do you guys think it could be...?" He looked up, spotting Christian walk by, meeting his eyes before going on, and Teddy felt sick to his stomach. He missed his best friend...why did things change?
