I looked down at my ring finger.. If ghosts could cry then I was about too.. "Ross.."I said quietly. Six months and I couldn't let him go.. I ran my fingers over my ring finger, as if feeling for the ring he gave me. I sighed and said "ya... I can't believe its been six months.. Feels like forever.."I sighed and put my face in my hands.

"I can't belive we all aren't dead yet. It's so wrong, with you gone. I wish it just was a dream and we'd all wake up and you'd be here. Do you rember the time we crashed that party by running in nude?" I laughed, "We didn't talk to anyone for weeks."

I sighed and said "Trust me, its no dream...."I rubbed my hand over were the knife had gone in and sighed, there was no mark on me now but it still felt like it was there sometimes. "Yes I remember.. If you tell the boys about that I will haunt you until YOU die.. And trust me I miss being there too.. Being a ghost you can't really feel.. I can't imagine Ross's arms around me or wrestling with my brother and I can barely remember any of your guys faces.... Thats why I keep watching.. I saw you needed help and decided to help you.. I want to go back so badly.. What happened to my body?"

I flinched. "Damon burned it. I wanted to bury you, like any normal person, but when doesn't Damon get his way?" I smiled wryly. "God, I need you back so bad. We're just so hollow now, just shell's of what we used to be. I really did concider killing my-self a while back...."

I shook my head. "Death is worse then living in pain.. You start forgetting.. You forget everyone you ever cared about and when you do find the courage to reach out to them... You can't touch them.. "I demonstrated by running my hand straight through her cheek. "See.. Then after a month, when you forget everything, you start having horrible nightmares... They are glimpses from your past but you don't know that.." I sighed and looked down. "I have been wanting to visit Ross in his dreams but... Every time I get the chance I croak and can't do it.." I sighed and pulled my legs to my chest and said "I was lonely.. That was why I brought you here.. I couldn't deal with the nightmares without seeing someone.. Damons head is fogged up with grief and some booze at the moment and I can't even locate Ross's.." I gave a small smile. "And expect Damon to take you out dancing tonight.. He does feel bad about missing all those things.."

I smiled, offering her a hand. "Hey, I got this back a while ago." I showed her the ring. "I couldn't give it back to Ross, but I figured it belongs to you now. And I'll be here for you, Mirage. Right now, Damon can wait. This is our time now."

I frowned and tried to pick it up but my hand went right through it. I felt as if I was about to burst into tears but ghosts can't cry. I shook my head and said "Give it back.. I really don't think I will be coming back.. And if I do," I paused." Can you make sure its REALLY me.."I looked at her and sighed. "I'm not sure what to think... I want to see him because I miss him but every time I get close everything tells me to move away and let him move on.. He shouldn't be in love with a dead girl.."
