She washed the dishes and wiped down the kitchen after breakfast, since her brother made it for her. She longed to get out of the house now and ride her beloved horse, but she had to make sure everything was clean before she left. Tikaani had left a couple of minutes ago, and she knew he wouldn't have gone far; he wasn't one for shifting into his wolf form that often, only when absolutely necessary. She smiled as she finished the last dish and then dried the sink before hurrying upstairs to change into her usual type of clothing: snug, form-fitting jeans, mostly artificially faded, as well as a more loose but still snuggish shirt. Today the shirt was strapless and black, exactly like her hair, which she had straightened right before changing. She glanced in the mirror, satisfied, then darted downstairs, slipping on her black Converse and heading out towards the barn, hidden well behind and between plenty of large trees.

He left Phyre in charge of cleaning up the kitchen after they ate, partly because he had made the breakfast, and partly because he knew he would fail at cleaning; he had never been good at it. He smiled slightly to himself, lost in thought as he walked down the trail, his hands in his jeans pockets, his black leather jacket keeping the cold from penetrating his skin. Not that he cared, but he would have to keep a human appearance if anyone happened to be on the trail as well. His dark eyes flashed across the bend in front of him, keeping his eyes and ears open for any sign of danger or otherwise. He still used his wolf senses, despite his human appearance. He paused for a moment and tilted his head to the side, and could have sworn he heard a gunshot. After a moment of silence, he continued, shrugging it off as some person with a deer hunting license. There were a crapload of those in the forest, a normal hunter's utopia. He lifted on hand from his pocket to run it through his hair, letting out a sigh as he took in everything that had occured in the past few years and where he was now; and most importantly, why.
