Alice looked up at Markus, standing slowly. She was younger then by a few years, that she could tell. "How am I supposed to trust a stranger?" She asks in her bell-like voice.

He smiled tenderly, seeing her red mark. "Wouldn't it be nicer to trust someone? I haven't done wrong by you, have I?" He asked tilting his head slightly to the side. "My name is Markus."

" Yeah, well no good h-has happened to me b-by trusting anyone... Markus. I'm Alice." She stuttered out in the same bell voice. It was odd to see someone as young as her with so much trouble and pain in her voice. She finally stepped out of the shadows, brushing her blond hair out of her eyes so she could see him more clear.

"No harm will come to you here, Alice." He smiled tenderly. "This is Cas." He said introducing her. He couldn't think of anything else to do. The sun was still slowly setting.

Alice gave a small smile to Cas before walking up. "...Markus, if I may ask, h-how old are you?" She asks quietly. She hated the fact of being younger then most, but frankly almost, or even taller then them.

He gave a small smile. "I'm 17 years of age. Why do you ask?" He said tilting his head slightly to the side. He wondered where Alice had come from and who gave her that red mark across her face.

Alice sighed. "No reason. Just hate that everyone's older then me.." She said, then realized his glance was at her smack. She bit her lip, her eyes fluttering down to their feet.

"Don't hate that you are younger." He said with his smile. When her gaze went to the ground, he decided to ask "Who gave you that mark?" He asked concerned. "Not to sound rude or seem like I'm prying. I just don't like seeing people hurt." He said gingerly.

"No one t-that you can do anything about.... It was my f-father." She mumbles, still looking anywhere from his face. "My foster dad." She added quickly, not liking the fact that someone would think that this mortal man was anywhere enar her true father.

"Well even though I can't do any thing there is always someone who can." His face turned to a sadder look. "Weather he is your real father or not you shouldn't be treated this way." He looked at her with a sympathetic smile.
