Phoenix looked at Spades, "So Spades, let's see how good you are at battling wild pokemon." She started walking threw the long grass with him looking for a pokemon. a rattatat jumped out at her quickly and she took a couple paces back. Spades quickly jumped off her shoulder and stood in front of her. "Of Spades, use Tackle!" Spades tackled the rattatat and then got hit with scratch. "Tackle again." Phoenix said, and with that Spades finished off the rattatat. Phoenix rewarded his with cuddles. "good job." She smiled letting him climb back onto her shoulder. "Now lets get going to Viridian City so I can get some pokeballs and we can start our team. She stepped out of the grass and onto the path.

Eventually, the Pidgey fainted. "Oh yah!" She and Gleam jumped into the air. Then she saw Sophia. "Hey! We should go to the next town. But do you know where to catch any ghost and psychic pokemon? I really want one for the team." She asked, and started walking to the next town. She had actually just moved to this region recently, and didn't know much about the areas. Gleam happily skipped behind her, occasionally stopping. "Oh yah! I need to get some pokeballs also. I already have 5 potions from mom though."

Sophia cheered happily. She congratulated both of them and smiled. She thought for a moment. She knew that Ghost type tended to hang around abandoned towers and whatnot. "Well if we can find an abandoned place I'm sure we would see some. Or just walk around at night!" she said with a smile. She looked at Henry, he was ready to get going and was tugging on her pant leg. "Same here! I really would love to start building a team already. Lets go!" she said as they neared the town. She could barely make out the blue topped PokeMart and fought the urge to run.

Violet blushed a shade brighter as she held her Bulbasaur in her arms before speaking up after Kurt, I-I'm uh V-Violet and um t-th-this is R-Rosa she stuttered out as Rosa sniffed at the bag full of treats. Violet looked down at the Grass Starter and shyly smiled, W-Would you like o-one Rosa? she asked her Pokemon who nodded happily before Violet reached in the bag and pulled out a treat feeding it to Rosa. H-How is it? the purple haired girl asked her Pokemon who let out a happy cry and nuzzled into Violet's chest affectionately, I-I looks like s-she like i-it K-Kurt she stuttered and shyly smiled to the boy in front of her.

Kurt smiled as the Bulbasaur ate the pokemon treat. It always made him happy to see other people happy, and especially pokemon. Stuffing the treat bag back into his bookbag he said, "That's great!" Droplet, who was resting on his right shoulder curiously watched Rosa as she was held by Violet. Kurt felt like Droplet, the mischievous Mudkip, wanted to blast Rosa with water but was with-holding himself from doing so. He patted Droplet's head and laughed a little bit as he let out a little growl for each pat. "Hey Violet, would you like to travel with us?" He asked her as her face turned a little bit brighter each time he talked to her. Hopefully they could become friends eventually and she wouldn't feel so shy around him.

Paul was well on her way to Viridian. It wasn't very far from Pallet town, and already Diana had gained a fair bit of experience. "At this rate you'll be evolving in no time." They kept running into Rattatas and Paul was trying to decide on what she was going to catch next. Her choices were very limited at the moment
