The tailor looked through my designs. "Why...you have hundreds here! You can't possibly want me to make all of these?!" the man balked, his eyes wide as he looked at me pleadingly. I let out a soft laugh, shaking my head. "Of course not, my dear man. I only want a few made. I'll pay for them all, of course. Out of pocket, don't worry," I quickly added, a warm smile spreading over my face, though he did not look comforted. I picked a few of the designs out, pushing away some black hair as it fell from behind my ears.

I took Damiens hand, got out of the truck, and went into the store . I tried on alot of dresses before I found the "one" . It was a beautiful yellow floor leangth gown . It fit well too, if ya know what I mean . "How does it look ?" I asked Damien, throwing my arms out dramatically .

Darion: I smiled softly as I pulled away 'yes we will' I replied. When I looked at Kit meeting her eyes softly my eyes which were normally a deep hazel were more of an emerald green. "Go into my room and you will find a cabinet beside my desk open it and you will find a jar that has some purple liquid in it. Only use three drops in whatever you drink It will make you better in a few hours." I told her.

I couldn't help but stare a little when I saw Mira walk out in the dress. I looked away for a moment, hoping that she didn't notice. "It looks amazing!" I smile brightly at Mira. "I think we should get this one. If you want, you can pick out a few other outfits then we'll pay and get out of here," I laughed, looking over the dress again.

Darion: I smiled softly "sleep well Kit." I whispered as I turned from her door and headed back to my room to grab my duffel bag and headed back downstairs. I was still smiling when I stepped out the door an hour later to step into the taxi to head for the airport.The whole ride to the airport was spent with me on the phone to the share holders of the lab in Baton Rouge. By the time I got to the airport I was in control of the majority of shares in the lab.


Dom lay panting on the cave floor. The grey fur of his chest still wet with his own blood. 'Lucy if we stay put the three of us will be ok for a while. The white coats cant find us here. We can contact your friend Darion as soon as we know that the white coats arent looking for us anymore.' he thought to the little red she wolf.

Lucy shifted to human form where she was smaller. "I agree." She told him back. She panted softly as she leaned back on the cave wall.

I began riffling through more dresses that were already in the tailor's shop, seeing if I could get a feel for what I wanted. I was more of a traditional girl myself- I liked the Greek, medieval, and Victorian styles myself. When I heard ball, I wanted a flowing ball gown with a corset top, though I figured many of the girls would be wearing prom type dresses. I wasn't quite sure, and I decided to ask the only person I knew was shopping with all the girls for theirs. Damien...what kind of dresses are the other girls picking out? I asked tentatively. Not that I'm assuming I'm going to the ball, I added, eyes downcast. Omegas weren't often invited to things like this.
