Jared gritted his teeth when Cariallie snuggled up against him. He caught the scent of her blood and leaned down toward her neck. The tip of his nose touched her, then he came back to his senses. "Jeez," he sighed and pulled away, moving to the crate. "I'm sorry, Cariallie. It's the only safe place I could think of." He placed her in the crate, but kept the door open for a while longer. He brushed the blood on his clothes onto the wood of the crate. Then, he could at least scent her out when he and Tamara were finished with her father.

Cariallie slept in the crate. She nuzzled into the wood and heard people leaving. She slept through most of what happened next as well. She winced and whimpered from time to time. She wanted to scream when the crate was turned over trapping her in it using the wall. What she didn't realize was a small dog had gotten into the crate with until it was snuggled up to her.

"Thanks," she said to Auvian. "Ready?" Tamara asked the other two, glancing at the crate Cariallie was in.

(well Cariallie was tortured, operated on and then given back to Jared by way of Ari. Cariallie is now in a crate with a puppy or small dog unconcious. Jared and Tamara are going after the leader of the people who issued this kind of thing to happen. Mitch and Auvian are working as a team trying to get out as well. So some humans and creatures are roaming free due to Jared and others still are not.)

vanity got up from her deep sleep and stretched looking around. but she did notice things were quite different. she scooted closer pinpointing what was changed. not knowing quite what to do, she went backed and curled up into her corner to wait until something significant happened while she was fully awake.

Ari glanced over at Vanity as walked up to her cage, unlocking the door. "You're free to go now," he started.

vanity hesitated but slowly got up and walked to the stranger "im forever grateful" she said looking at him then looked past him "but im afraid i have nowhere else to go" she said quietly.
