Holding onto time

Amber started to fake cry, she yanked her arm away in act-pain. Hoping to fool him.

Talon uncrossed her arms, still holding onto her hands, so they were standing face to face. His eyes started into hers suspiciously, but it melted away. "Not working." He murmered, kissing her, even though it totally was.

Amber grinned into the kiss. She reluctantly pulled away. "It was a nice try though right?"

Talon shrugged. "For a toddler, yes. It would;ve worked if I was a six year old's mother." He smiled at her and cleared his throat. "Um, I mean yay! Wonderful job!" He clapped, a grin spreading.

Amber's face crinkled, "RAWR!" She exclaimed, she crashed down onto the ground, laying on her back. "That means I love you in dinosaur." She said smiling.

"Too bad we're no dinosaurs." He commented, looking down at her. "C'mon, tour over." He told her, reaching out a hand to help her up.

"What if I was a dinosaur in hiding?" Amber replied getting up and brushing herself off.

"Then I would probably be eaten." He told her, smiling. he held her hand and started to walk around the lake. "Unless you were and herbavore. Then I would be okay with it."

Amber smiled. "I like like you too much to eat you! Herbivore or not." She squeezed his hand. She eyed something on the other side of the lake where they had just been, it looked sort of like a horror, but she couldn't really tell. 'Whatever, let them come.' She thought as she inwardly rolled her eyes, though her heart rate slightly quickened.
