When KAcys eyes slowly started to flutter open, the first thing she saw was the rising sun slighty lighting the passing scenery out the truck window. It was still pretty dark outside so she knew it was probably still pretty early. SHe smiled as she stretched then sat up "hey babe!" she said smiling

I yawned a bit. "Morning" I said in that voice you have in the middle of a yawn. "How'd you sleep?"

"good" she said smiling "But you look like you could use some yourself" she added with a slight giggle

"We're almost home" I said and gave her a smile in the rearview mirror

"good" she said smiling "It's kinda hard to stay comfortable in a car when you have a huge growth on your stomach" she said laughing as she got a mirror out of her purse "Oh wow! I look like [censored]!" she said as she looked at the bruises on her face, turning her face from side to side, examing them. "Did you tell your mom about what happened?" she asked
