Itari heard talking and turned her head and saw Jonsei sitting on the ground. She then used her speed and ended up at his side and said," Are you OK?" Her eyes looked ful of rage because of his step-dad and ful of saddness because of how badly he was hurt.

[paDIDLE!]

Jonsei smiled and said sarcastically "Never been better."

"I called an ambulance, so police and that stuff will be here soon. Until then, keep him awake, I don't know if he has a concussion or anything, I didn't check." Kaya said to Itari and slowly went up the stairs to see what her step-dad was doing, and if he was a threat now.

Jonsei cussed and shouted in agony. He looked over and smiled at Itari through all his hurting and said "Haven't seen you in a while, huh?"

Itari smiled and said," No you haven't." She hated to see Jonsei in pain. She was happy though that he protected her...She just wished she could have protected him. She then asked him," Where does it hurt the most?"

[paDIDLE!]

"My whole left side, from my chest to my upper leg. I can't really bend my left elbow either. See?" Jonsei tried to bend his left elbow and shouted very loudly, many people stopped and stared. He leaned up against the wall and tried to put his head up, but it hurt him too much so he just sat normally.

Itari looked at Jonsei and said," I can't believe he put you through all this pain." She then pu her hand on his elbow and tried to feel where it was...She then felt a broken bone and said," Don't try moving your elbow for a while."

[paDIDLE!]

He laughed for a couple seconds, then it hurt him too much to laugh anymore. "He does it nearly every week, I got used to it 7 years ago."

Kaya came back down the stairs. "He's taking a nap, he's no threat, right now anyways.

Itari looked up at Kaya and said," Well that's good." She then looked back at Jonsei and wispered in his ear," Please don't get hurt like this anymore...To tell the truth I can't stand to see you this hurt."

[paDIDLE!]

"As long as the police come and take him away for doing this, I mean I have you as a witness, well, before he threw me into a wall, you won't have to see me like this again. I'd hate to see you in the same position..." Jonsei whispered back. That was the truth, he really would hate to see her in the same position he was in.

Kaya felt relieved. "I think I hear an ambulance!" she shouted. Jonsei quieted down and listened. In fact, he could hear ambulances and police cars. He smiled at his sister, then at Asami, then at Itari. He'd never been so relieved to hear those sirens in his life.

Itari grabbed Jonsei's hand and listened to the sirens and said," I am a winess...And would there be a mark where he threw you at the wall? If there was he would be taken away." She then wispered in his ear," I'll try to not get hurt."

[paDIDLE!]

Jonsei really liked that she grabbed his hand. "Let's hope you keep that promise." he said, and rolled over in pain again. By the faded sounds of the sirens, Kaya thought they were at least a half a mile to a mile away. It'd be a couple minutes before they got here.

"Just hold on a little longer, Jonsei, they'll be here any minute now." Kaya said nervously. She looked over to her brother and saw the two holding hands. She didn't say anything, but she did think that something had to be going on between the two for them to be holding hands.
