Miluiel
As Kestrel galloped through the forest, Miluiel cast out her thoughts, searching for the familiarity of Aranel's mind. Within moments she found it, along with Beriadanwen's.
But Aranel's thoughts were jumbled and blank, not at all like she was used to. She was clearly unconscious.
It terrified Miluiel more than anything, more than the orcs, Nazgul, and Sauron combined.
Aranel! she screeched into her subconsciousness, Wake up! Get up, now! Eru knows what could be surrounding you! Wake. UP! Just seconds after, she found Aranel's limp body slumped against a tree, a single, already wounded orc creeping up on her with a dark blade in hand, aimed to pierce the elf's chest. Without even thinking Miluiel whipped out her bow and buried an arrow in the orc's breast before he was even a meter away from Aranel. She jumped down from the draft's back, noticing briefly that Beriadanwen was still immersed in the battle, but seemed to be alright for the time being. Miluiel grabbed Aranel by her tiny waist and placed her carefully at the pommel of her saddle. Cascade was not in any location she could actually see.
Climbing onto the saddle behind her, she spurred Kestrel into a swift canter and barreled through the orcs. "Go! Get to safety! Find the others!" she called to the elven warrior, who was dueling a good sized orc. And with that she wheeled Kestrel around, clutching Aranel with one hand and the reins with the other, and bolted back in the direction of the wizard, Marten, and Amara's house.
