Rose patted the small speaker next to the bathroom door and looked at Kira. "The noise came from here." she said. "You look great, Aubrie!" she added, getting her swimsuit and putting it in her purse. She got the few essential things ready and sat down again. She wanted the ball to start...now.
Jake took his backpack and put his swimming shorts in it. He sighed and collapsed on the bed. Then, he took a pillow and shouted into it. It made him feel much better.

Alec smiled, but panicked hearing the announcement. She ran into the restroom, putting on her dress and slipping on her sandals. She stepped out gingerly, uncertain. She thought she looked okay, but in truth, she worried what Mitch would think. She didn't think him to be the cruel kind of guy to break up with her because he thought that he made a mistake in choosing her. She shook off the thought, and was careful not to ruin her hair at all, though for her, that was a struggle.

Matt ran into his cabin, changing quickly into a tuxedo and combing out his ragged hair. And of course, as always, he put on his hat.

Mika jumped at the sudden noise, it had scared her. She figited with her dress for the last time before stepping outside and feeling the warm breeze hit her, it felt good.

Mitch hurridly showered off, trying to get rid of the saltwater and chlorine out of his long black hair. He shampooed it up, trying to make it soft instead of having it rough and textured. He stepped out and dried of quickly. He needed to get his hair dry, and get it dry quick, so he blew it dry hurridly. He brushed it out as fast as he could, and then grabbed his tux out of the closest. He tied the bow tie on it, and stared at it in the mirror. He silently send a prayer of thanks to his parents for buying him such a nice expensive tux from Italy. Then, he focused on seeing Alec...he was sure she would look amazing. She always did.

{Hmm, what to do with Aubrie?}

Alec smiled lightly, looking about the room. At that point, yet another announcement rang out. Attention all Campers! The Ball Will Begin In Five Minutes! Please gather in the Ballroom! Alec jumped up quickly, looking about. "Well, I suppose we'd better go girls." She smiled brightly, pleased about the ball, and how they all looked. But in her mind, she could only focus on how amazing she knew that Mitch would look. She hummed quietly to herself, and looked at the other girls.

"Let's go!" said Rose, smiling and opening the door. She took her purse and put on her shoes. She sat down on the bed and stood up again. "Is everyone ready?" she asked, smiling again. She couldn't wait for Zero to see her. Also, she wondered if Jake was alright. He was always forgetting things.
Jake stood up and straightened his tux. He walked out of the door and into the ballroom. He gulped when he realised that he was the only one there.

Aubrie grinned happily, looking forward to the dance. I will have fun. I will have fun.... She thought to herself. So what if she didn't have a date, did it really matter? She could have fun with the girls and their dates, and maybe meet a guy there or something. Unlikely, but she could still have a lot of fun, right? She grabbed her bag with her swimsuit and re-tied her Converse. "I think we're all ready." Aubrie said happily.

Mitch grabbed his bathingsuit and shoved it in a small Nike backpack, slinging it over his shoulder and heading out. His heart began to beat faster and faster as he began to head to the ballroom. Would she be there when he got there? He finally made it to the ballroom, and he took a deep breath and wrenched open the door. Not many people were there, and he couldn't see Alec. He breathed in a light sigh and dropped his bag in a corner.

"Ready!" Mika said and headed to the ballroom. Once she arrived, she opened the door. The first person she saw was Jake. She froze, then smiled. He looked great in the tux, and she just hoped she looked just as good. She waited in the dorrway for the rest of the girls. She smiled at Jake, her palms sweating, her stomach getting butterflies.

Rose grabbed Alec and Aubrie's hands. "Come on, girls!" she shouted to Kira, Amy and Gabrielle, pulling Alec and Aubrie to the ballroom. When they got there she smiled and let go of them. She waved at her brother and Mika.
Jake grinned when Mika walked in. He walked up to her and took her hand. "You look amazing." he whispered. He laughed when Rose walked in, apparently pulling two girls with her. They looked slightly suprised, but he was used to his sister acting strange.
