The Romantic Life of Summer (No Longer Accepting!)

"Hey," mika said as ros came over. She sat up and turned to look over at her. "So you and Zero seem happy," she said, slight anger in her voice. She wasnt mad at her, more of mad at herself for not trying harder. she brushed the sand off her back, hearing the soft patter of the grains as they hit the towel/. She tuned and now brushed them off the towel, spraying up a wave of sand, delibratly not making eye contact with ros.

"We are." said Rose, smiling and ignoring the anger in Mika's voice. "I'm just worried what will happen when my brother gets here. Oh, the constant jokes! I have a feeling that it's going to be terrible! You would like him. Jake is a lot like you. He is a great brother, he's just very annoying. He's only one year older and he still treats me like a little kid. But, it will definitely get more interesting when he gets here. If he gets here... He promised, but I don't know if he will get a flight this late. If he does, he should be here in a couple of days. Maybe tomorrow, if he's lucky. But 'lucky' is pretty much his middle name. He gets everything be chance. He's the best good luck charm ever! He's always happy, too." she smiled, thinking about Jake.

Mika nodded as she talked about her brother. She liked the guy already from the description. Mika smiled to herself, thinking she could be nicer to the girl. She was tired, and was probably going to go back to her room soon.

[Nostalgia]

"It's getting late. I think I'm going to go back to my room to get a good night's sleep. Bye!" said Rose, blinking her eyes a couple of times sleepily and walking towards Zero. "I'm going to my cabin now. I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight." she said to him, kissed his cheek lightly and walked to her room. She needed time to think and to relax. As soon as she lay down on her bed, she felt her eyelids turn heavy. She quickly fell into the wonderful land of dreams...

Mika nodded and got up, dusting off the sand. she headed back to her room and sat on the bed. She then quickly changed into pj's and hopped into bed. She lay there, thinking for a while, then she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Alec smiled, realizing their hands were still together and she looked over at Mitch. She saw his unreadable expression and spoke quietly. "Mitch? Are you all right?" She worried at that point that he didn't like her, that he'd wanted to run away from the start but felt to guilty to not run.

Aubrie chuckled. "You are a mind reader. Yea, I guess I'm a little lonely." she said, lightly lowering herself into the sand so that she lay on her stomach and propped herself up on her elbows. She grinned. "Oh, yes, it sucks to be us. The loneliest people at camp. We will die alone, won't we." she asked with a smirk as she twirled her necklace arounde as it lay flat by her collarbone.

Mitch sighed and looked at her. "Well, ze reason is...um...I wish I could tell you, but I just can't bring moiself zo. It's 'ard for moi to say somezing such as what I am wanted to say to you right now, because I am a very shy person and...I've never been good with feelings or words...and I 'ave never talked zis long to a pretty mademoiselle before..." he began to stutter. The slight change in her voice worried him. Did she think he didn't care for her? Far from.

Alec smiled slightly and she blushed being called mademoiselle, but doubt still flickered in her mind. "Mitch? I want you to know something right now. You can tell me anything, and I won't judge you. Ever." She noticed his stutter, and it registered quite a while later, and she thought it could mean one of many things. But she squeezed his hand for a moment before turning back, drinking the last bit of her smoothie.

Rose woke up after a dreamless sleep and opened her eyes. Then she remembered what had happened. She started laughing uncontrollably in bed, then she got up and got dressed into a long summer dress. She walked out of her room and went out to the beach.
Jake finally got off the plane. He streched and walked out into the sun. He was here! When he saw Rose he ran towards her. "My little pixie! I missed you! It's lonely at home without your grumbling." he joked, picking her up and spinning her around.
Rose started laughing again. "I missed you too Jake. You will not believe what happened!" she cried.
"Now, now, tell me everything. I want to know how you spent every second of the day without me." Jake said.
"I will tell you everything, later!" laughed Rose, pulling him to the food shack.

Mika woke the next morning, she changed quickly, not wanting to miss anything. She fixed her hair and added makeup. She walked out and returned to the beach, which seemed like the best place to go to. She layed down on the sand on her towel and tried to get some sun.
