I took the towel from Gavin and answered quietly.Next to the water heater.I wrapped the heated blanket around the child and rubbed her warm for a moment. I picked up the cord and plugged it into an outlet. This would help her. I turned the dial to high heat and crawled to her side.I pulled her onto my lap carefully and rested her head on my shoulder.

I pondered that for a moment as I searched around for my pick. My ears flicked above my head happily. When I picked up the pick a song invaded my head. I looked over at Cassie and took a deep breath.
