I kissed Cassie softly on the forehead before letting go of her and getting the groceries. I washed off the vegetables and took out the green onions.I pulled out a sharp knife and cutting board and quickly started to dice the onions up.

I set the knife down next to the diced onions before turning around and reaching into a cupboard. You could chop up the tomatoes. That would help. I pulled out he crock-pot and set it on the counter. I went to grocery bag and took out the cans of beans including black beans,garbanzo beans, kidney beans, kernel corn, and green chile peppers. I poured them into the crock-pot one by one and glanced over at Cassie.

Cassie nodded. "Okay." She said and started to get started. She grabbed a cutting board and knife. She then got the tomatoes and started to chop them. When she finished, she looked at him and smiled. "Would you like me to put them in now?" She asked. She knew that some recipes called for them to be put in later.

I turned around reaching with my long lanky arms to grab a few spices. I took down red pepper, black pepper,cayenne pepper, cumin, and cilantro. I sprinkled dashes of each over the contents of the crock-pot and stirred it up rapidly. I took out eh spoon and rinsed it under some water before placing it on a small plate. I closed the crock pot and looked over at Cassie. A smile was on my face, for this is what I enjoyed. Cooking with others and for them.
