Dante shook his head, "No... It wasn't fine... I deserved every ounce of pain, maybe more, that I got afterwards, when they wripped my wings off." He said quietly.

Haylee frowned. She didn't say anything, but just got up and sat down next to him. Then she gave him a hug, "I'm so sorry..." She whispered in his ear.

Dante leaned toward her a bit, "Nothing's your fault... You don't need to apologize..." He said softly, feeling a bit comforted by her embrace.

She let go of him and looked him in the eyes, "I know. But nobody is going to tell me I can't be here to help you through this pain." She said with a small smile.

Dante was like a fish. He opened his mouth to say something, thought better of it, then closed his mouth. He then opened his mouth again to say something, but again, he closed his mouth. At last, he asked, "Wanna do our homework together, maybe? Or work on that project?"

Haylee nodded, "But my stuff is at home." She then smiled, "Do you think you could poof at my house, grab my bag, and poof back here? Please." She said.
