Jerome smiled back. "You're welcome.." He walked in after her, the low light in the restaurant making his hair glint.

Shiloh smiled watching he lighting reflect of his hair

Nene sighed and nodded back at them. "Yea, but I just like to check. I never seem to know what will happen when he goes out for an excursion like this." She smiled at the Healer with gratitude, clearly thankful that she basically saved Cavan's life multiple times most likely.

Alastair smiled up at her and leaned into her embrace. "Hope you like Chinese."

"I know," the healer said with a smile and a nod, fully understanding her concern and not in the least bit envious that she was the mate of Eztli's brother, "but he knows what he's doing when dealing with her." She left out the fact that he'd been much more injured than usual, besides she knew that was only because he'd be keeping Isaac from getting killed. "Besides, I've never seen a man that can take a beating and pull through like nothing happened like our Alpha can." She laughed softly.
The Lead Soldier moved a little closer to Nene so she could be a little closer to her mate.

Amara smiled and kissed him softly then said, "I'm not picky, I'm sure I can find something."

Jerome smiled at her, shrugging slightly. "So, where should we sit?"

"I know what you mean, considering he deals with me all the time." She smirked at her little joke and glanced over at Cavan again, not even noticing that she did it. She wondered if it had been like this all his life, getting injuries all the time because of Eztli. "I'm just glad we were prepared for it."

Alastair turned and wrapped his arms around her as well, pulling her close. "I'm glad you aren't picky. Makes my life a whole lot easier."

"I like booths." Shiloh said softly placing a hand on his arm for comfort

Cavan groaned and twitched slightly, sensing the nearness of his mate.
The healer laughed softly and nodded, "Yes, well, we've been dealing with Sinka since Eztli was three and Cavan only four, so we know what to do."

Amara laughed softly and grinned at him, "Yea, plus if I were you'd be way below my standards." She laughed teasingly and then kissed him, not meaning a word of it since she knew she couldn't have a better man for a mate.

Nene nodded and glanced over at Cavan again, reaching to tuck a stray piece of his hair behind his ear. "We should probably get going.. They both need their rest."

Alastair gave her a faked look of hurt. "Ouch." He kissed her back with a curve to his lips, knowing that she would never mean that literally.

Jerome nodded. "Okay. Booth it is." He spotted an empty one and walked over to it with her.

Shiloh smiled pullu g her legs up beside her she rested her head gdntly on his shoulder

Cavan let out a sigh and seemed to relax a little at her touch. The Lead Soldier nodded, saying simply, "Yes," before she once more started to move towards the Pack's house, the others moving to include Nene in their circle of protection.

Amara laughed softly as she kissed him deeply, she was glad he knew she was joking, she would hate for him to ever think that she had the slightest doubt in their relationship. She knew without a doubt he was the one for her, and even if it wasn't really true she would often feel like she was the one that had gotten much more than they deserved.

Jerome chuckled slightly, stroking her hair before ordering them both some drinks.

Nene smiled a little at her mate's sigh. She remembered he often did that while he was awake as well. It made he slightly more confident that he would be okay. She walked with the rest of the group before they reached home.

Issac was curled up in bed when the rest of the party returned. He still wasn't awake, but he sensed their return as well as Eztli's. A part of him now was afraid of her, but he figured that it would be a good thing since he needed distance from her. His knees pressed into his chest and he whimpered quietly in his sleep, his dreams leading him into dark places filled with gnashing teeth and sharp claws.

Alastair knew that Amara was the only one he would ever want to be with, so he never took her teasings personally, or literally for that matter. She liked to kid around sometimes, which was what made her personality for the most part. He knew that she thought she was getting too much, but he didn't care. As long as he was good to her, that was good enough for him as well.
