(aw, i hate it when that happens

i do that all the time)
Sinka laughed as she leered down at him, she loved it when her words took root in some one and they began to doubt or hate themselves. That pain was better than any physical pain because it lasted so much longer and went so much deeper than any wound, it was almost a shame that he would have to die, but the pain would be that much greater in her vessel, worth it. She ran her barbed tongue along one of his wounds and laughed again, "You're blood tastes so good, it will be so good to feel your life drain out through my teeth." She laughed one more time before she opened her mouth wide, revealing large, sharp, serrated teeth. Each of which were pointed, not a one for chewing, just shredding. Her mouth shot towards him but there was a flash of yellow as Cavan stuffed himself into her mouth.
She snarled in anger and clamped her jaw as tight as she could, drawing a yelp as she cracked several ribs and did quite a bit of damage then shook her head and threw him across the clearing. She leapt off of Issac and took off towards Cavan, "You always have the worst timing."
Cavan let out a pained laugh as he fought to get his feet under himself, "Best timing in my opinion." He scrambled away from her slashing claws, knowing her deep seated hate of him would draw her away from Issac.
Amara grinned and laughed, "Oooh, you would be a really hot Wolverine, but you have to do the accent too, otherwise it kills the whole thing." She laughed again as she took a bite of food.

But in the corner, at the cold
hour of dawn, sat the poor girl, with
rosy cheeks and with a smiling mouth,
leaning against the wall--frozen to
death on the last evening of the old
year. Stiff and stark sat the child
there with her matches, of which
one bundle had been burnt.
"She wanted to warm herself,"
people said. No one had the
slightest suspicion of what
beautiful things she had seen;
no one even dreamed of the
splendor in which, with her
grandmother she had entered
on the joys of a new year.
